Can a 50hp tractor run this? Is this a 7ft cut? Wow, what a clean mowing job! Looks like it shredded the Sudan like crazy!

When he gets to the top he can just let them roll down
@aprilgeneric80272 жыл бұрын
lol...i tried that only once with my grand parents big baler..... good in theory, absolute nightmare in practice, #1 they aren't made to roll much with out breaking #2 unless you are dropping them to feed the animals, they unroll themselves in a nightmare manner on the way down unless they hit a bumps/rock then it just becomes a joke of a mess you need a grapple to drag out.

In the United States it is available from Earthtoolsbcs.com It is made in Italy and probably available in many parts of the world. It is very durable. I have had it for 14 years and just this year replace all the drive chains.

Hello How do I get this product from Hay Baler
@rototiller27 жыл бұрын
The back of the baler opens up after the bale is wrapped and the bale slides to the side with a little assist of your hands.

how much is that baler and how heavy are the bales and also what do you use to mow with
@rototiller29 жыл бұрын
+JD Vlogger JD, Check with earthtoolsbcs.com for the details on price and availability. As of today the price is $9800 for the baler. The bales are comparable to a square bale. Weight is going to depend on what is being baled and how it was mowed. I mow with an 8' JD bush-hog or the MC hay conditioner that you see in one of my other video's. This gives me a better mulch bale than a sickle bar. I do have the double acting 5' bar from Earthtools and like it but not for the mulch bales.

How do you like this baler? What kind of acreage are you doing?
@rototiller29 жыл бұрын
Erik, I love this baler. The reason that I bought it was to have small round bales to roll out for mulch in my garden. I have several fields that I bale, maybe as much as 10 acres and I usually get at least 2 cuttings per year. Customers at the farmers markets buy the bales to mulch their gardens and flower beds and I have others that will bring a truck over and get several loads of hay for their large gardens right out of the field. The baler is now 11 years old and I have had very little to fix. It is very dependable and should last another 30 years!

@rototiller210 жыл бұрын
This one is a 540 rpm. There was a 9 foot sold and it probably was also 540 but not sure.

Looks like a great system. How/Where do you dispose of the dead critters?
@rototiller210 жыл бұрын
The bales will weigh between 35 and 40 lbs depending on what you are baling and which engine you have on your BCS or Grillo tractor. Check with Earth Tools for current prices.

Where do you get knives for it?
@rototiller211 жыл бұрын
Jr., To answer both questions at once, the engine is a Honda 13 hp. The tires are Carlisle Power Trac II, 12x11.00-8NAS ... These are tires designed for zero turn mowers to give traction without tearing up a sod. I put them on my BCS strictly to solve the problem of not being able to stay in the plow furrow when plowing downhill. Then I found that they make every operation handle much better. I had to make an adapter for mounting. Earth tools should have this size available.
