@@daurbanexplorer5293 nothing too high 522 feet. The lake pretty cool, when we went it was low due to no rain. If you’re visiting Waco, it’s a short drive. Worth visiting even if it’s just for the day.

How unfortunate you did not delve into the rich history and neighboring Fort where the Parker's were massacred by the Comanches - the Cynthia Ann abduction and her son Quanah - last of the Comanche chiefs...

That area is rich with history and we even passed by to check out the old Fort. Our focus on this trip is the state park, but we do plan on returning to check that place out.

Primitive and group campsites are nice. Best spot in my opinion is the group camp site by the river.

I believe they have an adaptive wheelchair available. It’s an all terrain chair.

How is climbing those mountains and spending nights in those caves before it became popular we climb that mountain just about every other weekend when it was wild and Free we went over on horseback set up camp and climb to the top using ropes and climbing gear I grew up there and I absolutely love it you're absolutely wonderful I hope and pray they don't mess it up anymore than what it already is. Those mountains are absolutely wonderful and it has given me a memory that is absolutely wonderful and I will never forget I absolutely love El Paso

These mountains are beautiful, it’s one of our favorite Texas State Parks. Wished we spent more days in El Paso to explore some other trails. We look forward in returning to see the other side of the mountain.

When visiting in the summer when most days are blazing hot, the park is pretty empty until about 7pm when suddenly hundreds of people descend upon the park to hike out and watch the sun self over the sound on the tallest dunes. It’s very cool to go visit it at twilight whe. The air has cooled off enough to make hiking on it comfortable.

We had a Schlitterbahn park in KC area several years ago. A little boy flew off one of the slides because of a faulty harness. He was a politicians son. Needless to say, the park no longer exists. It just sat abandoned for a very long time. It’s all gone now. We don’t really do water parks, but lots of peeps seemed to really like that one.

Glasgow's Parks are beautiful. Kelvingrove Park, Queen's Park, Tollcross, the Glasgow Botanic Gardens and Pollok Estate are memorable !
