As a continuation she less than 3 years old and 1st time getting together....they got st7ck for about 20min but seemed a little stressful for her...anyhow....her pads on her feet were about torn off like peeling skin to humans... It seems she is way more sensitive to her feet than back or overused muscles for mating.. although she's probably hurting as this was her 1st time with a male.. if she can't put weight or doesn't want to put weight on her back legs and goes to the ground what should I do?....I watched the iliopsoas videos and starting messaging her....she's temperamental on the pain until I touch her paws and she can't handle it.....any suggestions guys?

Reviewing with Dr. Toracca we would suggest to start with 1-TDC orally and apply topically on the lumbar region ti begin on affected side

My german shepard won't walk after mating. Very healthy very agile..not in competition ever, but she can't put weight on the hind legs...she is a straight back, she won't let me touch her hind legs and hard for her to pee.. I think it's iliopoas...how long should I wait before trying to move her back to stretching....how long do I need/want to wait before seeing a vet or specialist if she won't put weight on the back legs....it's been about 24 hours...thank u 4 ur helpful video

@workssowellforpets269816 күн бұрын
that's a big one! You can start by giving it as a treat.

My cat "Clancy" developed bright red Gingivitis at the base of all his teeth . . . along with absolutely Horrendous Halitosis (smelled STRONGLY of rotting tissue) . . . at about 1-2 year/s old. A web search took me to info re. Stomatitis, written by a Holistic Vet (became a wildlife rehabber at 16 yo; then a conventional vet; then a holistic vet). One thing she noticed & reported about her Stomatitis patients was that those eating chicken ... who switched to a chicken-free diet ... improved greatly. So, I found a Limited- Ingredient Zero-Carb cat food for my 'crew'. They all love it, and both of Clancy's symptoms quickly abated, & have not returned in 5-6 years! . . . . So, I believe that Clancy was developing a serious case of Stomatitis, & chicken was somehow triggering it. . . . (Many just react to the protein, while some also react to the fat of chicken, according to another pet owner I know. . . . Chicken eggs are also a NO! NO!)

This is super useful, thank you very much. My dog has recurring iliopsoas muscle injuries and I’m losing hope. She’s due to start rehab at a new place in September. I really hope that she can recover. She’s only 4 years old.

I am in my 60's and within 3 years I have treated 3 cats with severe dental disease. Never heard of it or had a cat around with it. Now it is common just like Lyme disease from ticks and asthma and diabetes. My opinion, I know it is a controversial opinion, but this is university and military lab experimentation leaks.😡

Pretty good news. Ive read that when taking inositol, one should combine with choline. They seem to work together, like magnesium is needed to absorb vitamin D.

This is by far the best explanation for cat stomatitis. My 14 year old cat Snoopy was euthanized 3 months ago due to chronic stomatitis. It haunts me to this day, at the end he had constant drooling and would barely eat soft puree off my finger. First vet did not catch it. Second vet did a cleaning, pulled 2 reabsorbed teeth. Was given antibiotics steroid, pain meds. I was told he tested positive for bartonella and he was treated 2 times for that. 2nd vet said he may need full mouth extractions, Snoopy was 10 years at the time. Time passed, covid was here, I moved 2 times, so my fault Snoopy was not managed well. 3rd vet gave him antibiotics, steroids, pain meds. Snoopy was slowing down, he hated any medication by mouth, would hide from me. 3rd vet did not offer any solutions beside antibiotics, steroids, pain meds. I knew my cat was in pain and feeling unwell, so the vet agreed euthansia was a option. I found Snoopy as a stray kitten in my apartment complex. Sorry for long post.

I am sorry to hear about your loss of Snoopy. Stomatitis is a very complex disease to manage. Dr. Anthony knows how difficult this is both for the patient and the pet parent.

I took my 14 year old cat in because her eating was declining and it seemed like some thing was wrong with her mouth... She never let me look inside. They diagnosed kidney disease and said she was too frail to go under anesthesia. I was devastated. I gues they want o make sure my check clears. I don't know what the point is in refusing to treat her if she's going to die anyway.

Sounds like a lot expense wise ....my Dr Just opened our cats mouth because my 4 yr old was eating funny and cried out and ran with pain . They're saying they need to do entire mouth extraction ....Our Cat doesn't have saliva or blood from the mouth . Just issue around hard food . Total Cost from 1,900 up to 3 , 450 for removing all teeth . I'm not comfortable with this diagnosis because Ive seen Cats with drooling and very dirty cause of pain when cleaning . At this point I cannot afford this . Any suggestions Please

Had the same problem, please take a look at Andrew Jones, "veterinary secrets YT channel, video of march 11, 2024. My cat was quite dead. I started first re-feeding little by little, every 2 hours, adding colloïdal silver, nigari salt, quinton water, C vitamin. Then I used what described in Andrew Jones 's video that I have adapted a little bit: First days: propolis, Next: colloïdal silver, Next: krill oil with CBD and coconut oil. Then back to propolis. Have planned to use a 4th product mentionned in his video (something like liquid licorice Root that is difficult to get in France). Hope this could helo

I agree that the veterinarian should keep a cat who has had teeth extracted overnight. Trust me! Just had our 7 yr old cat's teeth exextracted and your cat is much better off at the vet's office.

Thank-you, SO much Doctor Anthony. Our soon to be 7 yr old, princess cat Choco Belle just had 11 teeth removed. It was horrifying at first. Thankfully a few days later she is eating soft food and expecting daily brushing. This video gives me some ‘ peace’ in that we did the right thing for our girl.

Have a older cat, who always has had a good mouth and teeth for her age. Now recently had a inflamed mouth, and had teeth removed and skin and now some more inflammations what should we do for treatment? Cat grinds her teeth, is this a sign of something else beside being Stomatitis?

I have two 8 pounders and one 16 pounder... what would be the recommended amount to squeeze onto the gums? The little ones can share one, and the 16pounder can have a whole one? Or would that be too much? Maybe half for the 16 pounder and quarters for the 8 pounders?

Can CBD help with stomatitis
@workssowellforpets26988 ай бұрын
It might but there is no research. On the other hand 1-TDC is proven to work and used by veterinary dentists.
@rutereis9213 ай бұрын
it doesn't work CBD, I tried several times and it's frustrating. I am now using 1-TDC (there is no shipping to Europe, I have to travel to USA to get it) and the inflammation is reducing, I am still only with 2 weeks of treatment with my cats.

Stomatitis in domesticated animals / pets is usually caused by FLEAS and you can read up as to why - BEFORE ALLOWING THEM TO REMOVE TEETH follow the simple process of elimination of treating the pet with REVOLUTION and a shower using DAWN - they'll have to stay INSIDE for at LEAST a month - two or three is better - if they don't have an adverse effect from the first treatment then treat them for month two and three - if you were moving somewhere you know has no fleas inside then you wouldn't have to do it for months two and three - bottom line is they need to be free of fleas long enough to know that it was definitely coming from the fleas - when you go to the "vet" they never tell you this and are more than willing to extract their teeth unnecessarily

My cat Toby died hours after being sedated. When we brought him home from the vet he was a bit wobbly and we laughed that he was still feeling the effects of the anesthesia. A few hours later his heart stopped and he never woke up. 😥 Personally, I think it's a bad idea to sedate a cat unless it's absolutely necessary (surgery). To sedate a cat for travel, grooming or teeth cleaning is asking for trouble. With Toby the older he got the longer it took for him to recover. There's a reason why you have to sign multiple wavers at a vet before they sedate them.

I found a young cat that has what I believe is. Stomach Titus suffering tremendously what can I do to save his life iand making comfortable? Hes so sweet and purrse right through everything.
@workssowellforpets269811 ай бұрын
Hi, stomach titus is synonymous with gastic titus or gastroenteritis. This condition is usually caused by viruses or intestinal bacteria. You need to find out what the cause is from in order to properly treat this condition. An internal medicine specialist would be the best individual to contact in order to treat it properly. Some of the viruses that cause stomatitis can also result in gastroenteritis. Does your cat have both conditions? It is important that you get this properly evaluated by your trusted veterinarian who will have a full medical history of your cat.
