Sounds like there might be a balancing issue. Did you balance your prop after mounting to the shaft?

Where did you buy the surface drive unit. I’m build a aluminum boat now. I. Was going to just hang a regular surface drive mud motor. But if I could find this drive system this could be a game changer. What’s the name for this type surface drive? Great video

I'm very interested in this drive. I have a 23' boat that I'd like to put a couple hundred horsepower motor into and put a surface drive such as this on. Can you do a video in detail describing it, or put the plans online somewhere, or are you planning on marketing it? If so, how far along are you, do you have any idea how much you'll sell it for, and will you be building one to the specs I laid out? I watched a couple of your videos and you never seem to answer any of these questions. If you don't answer, what is the point of posting these videos? Are they private communication between yourself and some of your collaborators showing your progress?

Wow, that is impressive! What motor and batteries are you using? I am making a stern/transom drive eBoat. Its a 16ft jon boat. I have 15 40v 18AH LiFePo4 EV battery modules already and a 36v forklift motor and 300 amp speed controller on the way!

Did you make your own at steering unit? I'm looking for a good universal joint for the steering on my Surface Drive propeller left right up down . So I can have good steering capabilities and bring the propeller up in shallow water..

Wow that's really nice running. I was wondering how you got it on plane so quick but then I see this is electric which has instant torque. Nice job. Electric technology has come a long way and can now be practical for many more applications....but it's still way to expensive for most. Be nice to see this in a larger scale like on a 30' boat with twin electric surface drives.
