I've always thought that Japanese and German people have a lot in common. I love both 🙏🏽

I found your video to be informative and gently presented thus not overwhelming in hyper-stimulation that a lot of videos aim for. That said the reed-pipe music did get a little bit much by the end albeit a taste of that music is quite nice. The house is exquisite and seems from the inside to be one of the more beautifully kept in good condition old traditional houses of Japan and hence very livable in the atmosphere it generates. I have 2 questions inspired from watching your 5 aspects of a traditional Japanese house: Question 1: Are some Japanese Futons bigger/heavier than others that don't need the mattress addition? Is there a naming distinction between varieties? Question 2: Does your house have a veranda or "Engawa" around your house? Thank you for the efforts made in creating this video in showcasing the beautiful house and I wish you much happiness living there especially as it comes down from the grandparents and is as such a link to relatives and kin.

Beautiful house, beautiful wife, beautiful life! You are blessed my friend. I prefer living in the countryside; I work online, so it doesn't matter. It's so unusual to see a an old home in such good condition. Your tatami are also real, not the new plastic ones! Looking forward to new videos.

i think it’s awesome how you’re able to drastically alter the look and function of these rooms so easily do modern japanese homes also feature things like tatami floor, oshiire, fusuma, and shoji? or is that more exclusive to traditional houses? i wanna visit japan so bad.. both big cities and rural small towns, i’m just fascinated by 日本 and its culture! your new hair color looks great btw
@SenChannelvlog9 күн бұрын
Yes, even in modern Japanese houses you can find elements like tatami floors, shoji and so on. However, the material is usually different. Regardless of the weather, it is currently a good time to travel to Japan, as the yen is very weak.🌸

such a cool video and above all the great and beautiful traidtional aestethics, it just looks warm and homely. I also really liked the craftsmanship that went into the sliding door mechanisms throughout the house! your new hair suits you really well ^^ and i also hope that the cockroach came alone 😅

Do you have a lot of old traditional houses in Thailand too?
@cpthippoO19 күн бұрын
@@SenChannelvlog We do. I would say a majority of well preserved Thai traditional houses in Bangkok or big provinces are commonly converted into hotels or wedding venues. Some are kept among family members as heirloom but rarely use as living space. Yet it was more common to see small traditional houses in small provinces and are still in use. Also each region has their own unique style too. 😊

So the space you opened under the tatami, a kotatsu would go over that so you can stay warm while you eat during the winter? Is the heating system electric?
@SenChannelvlog19 күн бұрын
Yes, it’s covered with the plastic bag in the video so it’s not visible but on the bottom, there’s a electric heater. By putting a blanket under the table, we can keep our legs warm inside.☺️
