Myself and my wife just spent 5 weeks touring Europe! It was amazing! And on our itinerary was Lugano! My wife went to a private school there 🏫 called Tasis her junior & senior years of high school. Lugano is absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately, we were unable to do funicular on Mt.Bre. We had the opportunity to go to Austria 🇦🇹 and took the train from there. The Swiss Alps were breathtaking! Thanks for sharing your video!

Hay how would you compare the water clarity to other locations in Yucatan?
@jillianandjeremy29 күн бұрын
Hey Wayne!! The water at Pig Beach is beautiful!!! Can be not so crystal clear in the main Progreso beaches, but still wonderful to swim in!

Very interesting video you guys. There is a tree that is much older the the Bristle Cones. It is the Bennett Juniper, it's located in the Stanislaus forest in California. It is south of Hwy 108 near the town of Dardanelle. This tree has been core sampled and is over 6000 years old. You can actually drive to it but it is NOT easy.. Most people have never heard of it, but trust me, I've been to it. - - - -" oldest thing God has wrought"... a portion of the description written on a sign nearby... The tree is 87 feet tall and it's trunk is about 9 feet in diameter at ground level. (Google it for more info.)

Hj just wanna ask how and where to buy train tickets from milano to lugano? Any links please? Thanks
@jillianandjeremy2 ай бұрын
Hi there! So sorry for the delay responding. The absolute best way we found was the 'SBB Mobile' app - the icon is red with two, opposite facing arrows and a line in the center. It makes finding the schedule and buying tickets SO easy. Hope I'm not too late and you can use this tip!

Jill and Jeremy, would you recommend using third party tours for 1st time cruisers traveling with young children?
@jillianandjeremy2 ай бұрын
So sorry for the delay, Casey!! The only third party tour company we can recommend is: www.yucatancenote.com/. We know the owners and have personally used them two or three times and had EXCELLENT experiences each time. The owners are lovely, Canadian expats who employ deeply knowledgable local guides who know all the good, hidden spots not consumed with people. Highly recommend - and please tell them Jillian and Jeremy say HI!!!

Hola! New sub here. My Wife and I are looking into retirement in that area. Where would you suggest if we only have two must haves? 1. Bicycle friendly 2. Beach life.
@jillianandjeremy2 ай бұрын
Hi Sam!! First, so sorry for the delay. Next, CONGRATS on your new retirement heaven!!! Definitely NOT downtown Progreso - unless you rode only on the malecón (which doesn't allow cars), I wouldn't ride a bike around narrow, populated roads. That said, Progreso's neighbors Chelem and Chuburna are more quiet and have both of your requirements. Best wishes!!

Is there a specific beach you recommend?
@jillianandjeremy2 ай бұрын
So sorry for the delay, @yusraa5701!!! We definitely prefer the beach on the international malecón side in Progreso (left side of pier). To us, it was more quiet and had more expansive coastline. The original malecon (where all the restaurants and shops are - if you are looking at the pier, the beach on the right side). Hope this helps!

Solid choice - they were our top 5. I think the hype with Pepe's is the amount of meat you get compared to, say, El Carboncito. But taste is subjective!! Appreciate the comment and so sorry for the slooooowwww response. We are just getting back and running on this channel.

Please be aware that Aperol or Campari spritz have been invented in Italy (Aperol and Campari are Italian booze) dated back to 1919 in Padova, so nothing to do with Switzerland

The Swiss refined it and invented a ton of mix drinks around it. You can say that the Swiss made Aperol famous.

The cruise ships are what pays for all of the improvements, but they're also the cause of it being too crowded and touristy. So many impatient and rude people come off the cruise ships. And oddly, many complain about the heat. Of course it's hot, you're in the tropics! Chuburná for us is a better option. Not a lot of tourists, and no bars or restaurants. But people will bring you beer, and you can hang out in a hammock and watch the flamingos.

Ilived in Brazil for 18 years off and on, i never paid more than 800 usd per month for an appartment,As for CPF,anyone can get one thrue the minister of the Fazenda,i am very surprise that someone let you use their CPF,its against the law and most folks protect their CPF like Canadians and Americans protect their S.S. so any big cities you can apply for a CPF as a tourist,
