I've been to many beaches around the state of Florida since I was a child. I never thought I would experience anything like this where you have to watch where you walk on beach. I'm originally from a beach town in the Port of Los Angeles 3rd generation. It's shameful to see how selfish people can be for walking on a beach.

Fine then they must pay TAXES on the Beach property they claim! THE BEACHES BELONG TO EVERYONE! and when the next big storm hits and they want public tax dollars to replenish 'their' beach... NOT ONE DIME!

If the coastal property owner's 'own' to the mean high water line, are they able to 'build' on the land south of the dunes? If there are restrictions from building on the beach south of the dunes to the 'mean high water line' wouldn't this be indicative of either defacto eminent domain, or abandonment by the property owner?
