I feel like using insurance takes away any risk or punishment from dying. Either way is fine, but I think avoiding insurance is a nice added bit of challenge

I always ensure things I care about and things I need for a particular task like the rig for Setup etc. Just saves having to hunt the stuff down again and keeps good kits together.

One small tip ,yes as a noob player. Dubbleclick uses healing aswell, one 10th of a second faster then right click use :D

Money wise, items like powerbanks, armor and gun repair kits, and military power filters are going for crazy amount on the flee on PvE, also idk if this is happening this upcoming wipe but we might get the new map terminal and maybe the factory rework, and pro tip you can install a mag while loading it with ammo if you right click it and press install

PvE spawn rates are messed up. Bosses have a ridiculously high spawn rate and goons are on every map they can appear on every time. Don't know if it's a bug or how Battlestate set it but be careful especially around fortress and weather station.

When I'm playing a match like that one on reserve and the game is really trying to kill me I just extract, Tarkov is telling me to F off so better hear it

i think at first you should insure every time, ive heard it works 100% of the time, but if you want to make it more challenging which as i said i think it would get boring without some challenge(its up to you how much you consider that kind of restraint a challenge) to keep yourself entertained Turns out, The CAT Hemostatic and disposable syringes cant be bartered for or bought from the traders but are used in a couple of the medstation crafts so they might be worth collecting (MTs-255+dual sabot #4)

It seems like all the ai stop enguaging eachother as soon as the player is nearby to bumrush you. Honestly not a fan.

I usually mix mags with hp and 855 or whatever good ap ammo since i can smash a plate with ap and demolish hitpoint pools with hollowpoint or decent flesh damage rounds.

I farm Factory a lot, he never directly fights them. He will only chase you down and he will chase you down from start of the raid till you kill him or leave. For some reason if your behind a close door he will creep up and wait until you move or open the door, but it gives you enough time to grenade him or get few shots in. I try to bring him towards cranes because pmcs don't often push you around that area, a terrible place to fight him is the office because pmcs spawn there and will try to flank you while he's chasing you. Hope that helps.

From what I have seen I think it makes more sense to say you can insure one thing per raid if you come back out with that thing then you can insure something else and take both in cause you did well but because their is so much AI on the maps and the your constantly fighting that I think dieing should ahve some weight to it personally

also through insurance you level Charisma

i think being your first PVE run through dont try to do extra challenges like not insuring just show people a normal experience. challenges are for later imo.

I think insuring is fine. PVE Tarkov, in my experience seems very random. Scavs and PMC’s are very swarmy, and tend to group up in packs. They also throw grenades a lot more than PVP. As well as they spawn in random places and check doors that no one else playing the game would check almost as if they always know where you are at, at all times

Me personally, I like the pve mode over the hassle of spt

if you want some challenge, try not insure the stuff, try running scavs to get pmc gears, mmmaybe a bit fun.

tbh if you insure your stuff you will be using the same kit every single time, having random kits will make it more enjoyable for you and us watching.
