I think you did a great job. Love teaching your son how to install screws properly and letting him know he did a great job. Good looking deck and roof. Will you be sealing or staining the wood? Now sit back in the shade and enjoy a cold glass of iced tea. Y'all earned it.

Nicely done, I think I'm going to copy this on a smaller scale for my 12' round inflatable Intex. Thanks for all the detail.

I'm hoping for a reply from anyone here... wouldn't you plug the 2 original intakes and just use the bottom of the skimmer box as the 1 primary feed into the pump and then have the 1 outlet back into the pool after the filter? The more suction you have into that skimmer box the better it will do it's job.

Great work guys im a subscriber and enjoy the videos. In case no one has told u insulation gets stapled to sides of studs on inside this creates a small pocket to help cool and heat. It will work the way u did it but not as efficient. Good job and i agree on the tongue and grove although its code in some areas. Thanks

A great job. What type of drill bit did you use for the handle? Would a typical wood bit work.? Looks like you drilled through quite easily.

The porch roof looks fantastic! I’m old so I will always put the screws on the ridge. That way no one will ever have to go back and re-tighten or replace screws. Love watching you guys.

This isn't a question on the filter but It' a question about the top rails. Everyone is saying their rails are pushed in but mine are pushed out. I'm assuming once I add the water the walls will go in ? I hope this is correct because I'd like to move my pool up against the covered porch wall before filling it.

I may have missed it but did you convert your walls to 2x4 or was your home made with them? I know some are 1x3

I'm so glad I Iearned this about not putting the screws on the ridge, prior to my new roof. I have such terrible water issue. The knowledge and hands-on skills you are giving Elijah are beyond valuable, I love watching him learn and do these things. Great roof job Elijah.

Great video. Love your channel. One thing to consider with rocks or hard pan is a jack hammer. They make very reasonable priced electric jack hammers that can pulverize rock / hard pan when you run into it. Me - not an expert, but love my Chinese jackhammer.

Those WAGO connectors have a concern. They were tested with other connectors, and they were just ok with low to medium loads. But when they were loaded up with a heavy load, they got hot and melted. This is a possible fire concern. When we looked at the connection of the wire to the WAGO snap fitting, we see that the wire has a very small connection to the conductor inside the body. The connection is minimal so it will heat up under load. WAGO connectors are ok for maybe lighting which is usually around 1 to 5 amps loading but I wouldn't use them under a house circuit loading, certainly nothing with a heater resistance or heavy load from appliances. you need to see the test, the WAGO connector melted to a blob and came apart. I dont promote the WAGO for this reason.
