I have the same problem on my upper arms. The only thing that helped me is to only use super gentle shower products. I now only use dermasence Vitop forte on my arms. Its also the only cleanser I can use on my face without any reaction. Every once in a while I will use the dermasece mousse as a gentle peeling on my arms.

Hello! I don’t know if this is available to you but I just started using the Kristen Ess scalp scrub and I really like it. I haven’t used the Christophe Robin but I don’t like that it comes in a tub. The Kristen Ess comes in a tube with a pointed applicator so you can actually target your scalp.

I've had great luck with Jonak and Carel. Carel *is* pricey but they have a few significant sales per year which make them more affordable. You do have to move quickly if you're a mid-size, as ever, as they'll sell out quickly. For Canadians: both have a Canadian shopping cart option which bill in Cdn $, which includes the duties and taxes. Carel's quality is absolutely outstanding and the designs are eye catching without being too trendy. Jonak is great quality for the price and both use DHL so you get your packages zippity quick. Other than at Gravity Pope (or Fluevog if your taste is a bit baroque) I haven't found good quality shoes in Canada for years - so it's great to so easily be able to choose from such good French brands. I've had great luck with the quality of Sezanne's shoes, but my oh my, the sizing is inconsistent :-) It pays to go check Reddit or similar before choosing your sizes! Eg. the Vicky loafer in my normal size was gigantic - a full size too big in width and length - while the Paula baby fit just right. ??

I've been eyeing Bobbies for a while and came to try some Loafers on in London finally. Unfortunately, it seemed they are very tight around the toebox. But later on i thiught it might have been increased sensitivity from the shoes i was wearing prior to trying them on. So my mission to figure out whether they are wearable did not get accomplished

I love Bensimon and they are surprisingly comfortable and not expensive. A brand that I really love, and that isn't too expensive on Vinted, is Bosabo. I love how the clogs have some rubber in the middle that makes them more comfortable.

Bobbies have at least 2 boutiques in Paris. I discovered them last December when I was there. One is near Bon Marche (Rue Cherche Midi maybe? ) and another in the Marais. I've acquired 5 pairs of boots/shoes/trainers since then! Love them! Love Mellow Yellow and Jonak too. My husband loves Paraboot. You've given me a few new brands to check out. Thanks as always! ❤️

My rain boots are from Le Chameau, but they’re hard to get on and off, they fit slim at the ankles. Nice quality, though. Maybe their other styles have straighter, less fitted shafts.

I like my Ballerines with low to medium heels, Repetto and Ballerette are good for those. I adore Sezane’s Paula Babies, but I’m getting tired of waiting for them to restock the colors I want - navy and burgundy. They only offered a few pairs and they sold out in an hour, but these are basic colors, I don’t understand why they don’t stock more. No one wants those lavender or lime green ones, so they’re always available!

I only buy genuine leather*, no faux leather, footwear (and accessories and clothing), and it’s becoming less and less common here in the US, sadly. I know the French focus on quality in everything they do, so I bet these French brands are great. *(The only exception to genuine leather might be a cotton canvas espadrille or sneaker).

Thanks for this! Right now, I’m having a “shoe problem”: I’ve seen so many great, stylish but comfy low to mid-heeled options this month that I’ve bought way too many. It’s mostly because I love white and ivory ones so much and for once, there are plenty around. At least I’ve been able to take advantage of the July sales on most pairs. But, I’ll save your video for the autumn and review the brands then. I try to get a new pair of boots every autumn; as a year-round daily dress/skirt outfit wearer, I wear them a ton, especially knee-high and thigh-high ones (Stuart Weitzman only for these - I just got a great gray pair on sale).

I bought a Sandy skirt during the Sézane archives sale, and the first day I wore it we had a mass lay off at work. I haven’t worn it since because it gives me a bad feeling. I will put it away until I forget about it. LOL

This really made me want to share some of my thoughts as well. ☺️ It's heartbreaking, yet so important to understand what happens behind the shiny curtains of those huge brands. And well, it's also a bit unpleasant because it makes us, who may have consumed and admired these brands, feel ashamed. I wish that we'd manage to fix our understanding of luxury. Luxury is a privilege, and there is no such a privilege than abusing others. But a bunch of ashamed consumers that might even change their consuming habits will never be enough really tackle the whole problem. Thus, I'm gladly welcoming the new corporate sustainability due diligence directive here in EU. I hope it opens the path towards effective regulation and a better world. 💚 I've pretty much lost my interest in luxury that is basically just linked to a brand. Luxury, ofcourse, is an idea, but it should also be a material fact. Why give these overpriced brands any acknowledgement at all?

Hmmm, this is a complex topic, especially nowadays when it seems that all the brands are in a race to the bottom in terms of quality-price rapport, workers' rights and environmental responsibility. It's been something of an open secret for a while that luxury brands are using many of the same factories as mall brands and passing off work mainly done in India as "made in Italy" or "made in France" if the pieces were merely finished there. So for me it comes down to price-quality rapport - the only reason I'd ever consider a luxury brand for anything. I bought a gorgeous Valentino silk-wool blend sweater on the consignment market that was worth every penny in terms of the superb materials, workmanship and finishing. I've also seen a lot of quite shockingly poor quality garments for sale, both new and used, from labels that used to be known for their timelessness and quality. Perhaps it's a good thing that we're learning about these issues - so that we can bring a healthy scepticism to the shopping experience and perhaps give our wallets and the planet a bit of a break 🙂

I also started watching 9-1-1 a while ago and I'm almost done with season 3, it's great! The only thing is that it's sometimes very graphic without warning and I scream and cover my eyes! And I usually will watch shows while I'm eating and it's not always apetizing 😄 but the characters are very likable and the storylines are interesting. I recently had a week without wifi so I dug up an old season of the show Medium and now I've started watching from season 1 - me and my mom used to watch it together when I still lived at home and it's an excellent re-watch. If you don't know the show it's a thriller/crime show with Patricia Arquette as the lead actor and she helps solve crime cases with her visions/clearvoyant abilities. It may sound cheesy but it's not at all 🥰

My mother made me a pair of shorts like that when I was 6 years old. It certainly didn't cost 90 euros. The very least they could have done was match the pattern on the waistband. The halter sundress doesn't work. I agree with everything you said about it. The red tee: I completely agree with your assessment. Also as you move around that shirt will slip off your shoulder. I also agree with your assessment of the blue and white dress. I think if you had it altered it would work. Love the flowered sundress. You can use a clip to hide the bra straps.
