Caskey, Thanks for this video. Tbh brother I wasn't subbed to you or anything. This video randomly popped up on my recommended today. I have a lot of parallels with you and your life including the parents on drugs and now at 37, I'm all by myself. Mother shot herself while drunk in 2008 when I just got out of army basic training and my father recently overdosed on fentanyl a few years ago now. I also had a raging addiction that costed me my military career in the end but I'm no longer in that cycle. I understand your regret about your father. I hadn't spoken to mine at all for a few years mad and worried he was gonna just ask me for money so I ignored him for awhile while living in a different city. In the end I feel like he died completely alone and thought his son hated him. I really appreciate you taking the time out to tell this. Again, didn't know of you until now. You've got my attention though. Much love brother and stay up.
