I had a Kona blue 2012 3.7 and I put in an MGW shifter after the MT82 got rebuilt under warranty and it held up pretty well and it really made a difference in my track times. It had 3.73 gears and a 93 race tune and it ran low low 13’s at 103. I had u/l control arms and adjustable pan hard bar to center the rear end after lowering. It was a ton of fun to drive and I cried when it left because of all of the good times and road trips I had in it. It used to surprise some of the early 5.0 and absolutely embarrassed the old 4.6’s and pushrod 5.0’s. I never could get a 12 on street tires and it would spin on power shifts so much that I actually picked up a 10th lifting slightly on the 1-2 and 2-3. Amazing how much abuse the little motors will take but the MT82 is hot garbage. Get the MGW, you won’t regret it.

go with a GT flywheel and ram spacer for cost as far as cost goes.. clutch choice is so subjective

Glad to see you back man! I got so many of my mods for my 3.7 from your suggestions on this channel. MPT 93 tune, headers, Air raid intake tube, high flow filter and Borla S type axel backs. They all worked great and I still love my 2013 Premium with the Performance package and manual trans. Only 62000 thousand miles on mine right now. I had to put a water pump and a throttle body and that's it so far. Been a great car so far. Cheers Bro!!

I love my 3.7 but I'm currently debating fixing her up or trading up for a C6. I have 3.55 rear end, stage 2 clutch Barton short throw, eibach lowering kit and so forth. It would be fbo if my exhaust system weren't stock. What do you suggest? Worth trading up? Or do I keep it and boost itsince I already have a bunch of mods?

If your end goal is to go fast easily I would trade up to the C6. These guys like Walter and the others that run low 10s and high 9's are engineers of their own sort... it takes a lot of work, money, and dedication to boost these cars but if thats what you want to do and you can set those goals then go for it. Just always remember to look at the big picture in the long run of where you will end up

Hey! I enjoy this 3.7. It's been a work in progress. One of the things I love the most is how reliable it has been for me. I have pretty much every bolt-on available for the Mustang paired with a racetrack suspension. I just need the ported intakes and a new performance clutch. I'm glad you are okay, honestly, and I understand whatever reason you had for your absence.

High flow cats on 16 coyote with 18+ intake....87 mm throttle with Livernois tune.....The upstream sensors are so important. They get lazy and they will toss a downstream code.....Absolutely consider replacing them in pairs at 60,000 miles......There is NO tuning company out there that will take a chance of major Federal fines and possible jail time deleting the rear o2 sensors. People own these cars because they love performance.....Make sure the upstream are perfect and yes pull the downstream sensors out of direct flow......I live in Florida and could care less about emissions but want all I can get from my power plant..!!!!!!!!

Other than a premature water pump failure at only 30K miles no real issues. Need to do the recall visit for the back-up camera. Pretty good so far !

Your not a loser if you lose, your a loser if you don't try to win. the experience is what matters because, this just a moment in time and nobody is going to live forever it also teaches so much, what can improve, what may be an issue....there so much more to gain then to lose. Nobody was a loser here, people will always respect the effort
