The Producers, the Barbados Consul General of Barbados, Rhoda Green, and other entities in South Carolina capitalize on our family stories for career pursuits, books, and lectures. As they say, "off the chain", is when our own people take advantage of each other, and equally engage with others to do so. No better than the Slave Masters and Africans who sold our people into slavery, who always want freebies, by applying oppression, greed, and misuse. This is an opportunistic behavior and a reflection of Barbados' "Little Bit of History" pamphlets published in Barbados. Assisting others to sell off the Bowens narrative stories when we can surely tell our own, granted and at our leisure. Fantastic songs, but the guy breaking it up like it goes from a concert to a documentary is random and one loses the flow, worse still is that this video contains more adverts than I’ve ever seen on a video; I think I’ve had about 15 lots of adverts after 30 minutes: absolute joke; had to stop watching. At least bunch the adverts together more so that it’s not after every damn brief song!

This production needs more views and should be played repeatedly at the Atlantis Hotel. The full interview should also be played. Visitors and locals alike need to know our Sisters of our Soil and HERstory. 🇧🇧 I am proud to have spent many summers at Atlantis with my family and privileged to know who I called Aunty Enid. This was great episode depicting the history of Bimshire with the Carolina connection. Please continue to do more episodes! The background was beautiful! hope in future episodes you let us know the “other slaves” that were brought over and the countries they were taken from. When you listen to the Gulah Geechee dialect it has a lot of Bajan dialect to it.
