Definitely the results would be much better, if a better graphics card will be used. As to read the comments from ED in the DCS forum: ...If it indicated GPU BOUND, your graphics card is holding back the maximum possible frame rate that the CPU can provide.... You see in the video with MT support, that "GPU BOUND" message has shown (upper left corner) and the theoretical rate of FPS, which indicates a GPU bottleneck regarding FPS. I am aware of this even before the MT version came out. But anyway...graphic is faster with MT and bring a performance upgrade free of charge to exisiting systerms - this is the message. @@mlbatch DCS has changed something in the "how to" of installing mods, which is (for me) not clear at all, so don't ask me how and why in detail. I am NOT a modder but I am sure, it will become more clearly in future due to special tutorials of some of the DCS experts like the Grim Reapers and others, which are always extremly helpful for all DCS players like us. Keep in mind that this is a quick and dirty workaround. If something goes wrong, simply delete the DB605 folders from the installation paths below. 1. Extract the sound mod of Stuka. 2. Add the follow folder structures if not already exisit: C:\Users\[USER]\Saved Games\[DCS.openbeta]\Sounds\Effects\Aircrafts\Engines\DB605 and C:\Users\[USER]\Saved Games\[DCS.openbeta]\Sounds\sdef\Aircrafts\Engines\DB605 [USER] = Your user folder [DCS.openbeta] = Your version of DCS stable or open beta 2. Copy all "WAV" sound files from Stukas sound mod folder "Bf-109K4 IDB Mod 2.0" to C:\Users\[USERl\Saved Games\[DCS.openbeta]\Sounds\Effects\Aircrafts\Engines\DB605 3. Copy all "SDEF" files from Stukas sound mod folder "Bf-109K4 IDB Mod 2.0" to C:\Users\[USERl\Saved Games\[DCS.openbeta]\Sounds\sdef\Aircrafts\Engines\DB605 Keep in mind, that I intend only to change with this method the external engine sounds disreading the internal sound files, you have also copied, but it's easier to copy them all. (I think the internal sounds don't change.) If something does not work how it should be or goes totally wrong, simply delete both DB605 folders you did create in the path above. Hi Ravent, yes, to pfly warbirds makes as fun as modern jets..in my opinion. You ask me which plane I do recommend? It's completely up to you! To have fun during flying is the important thing. Beside that you skill rise faster in a plane/or planes do you prefer because you like them. Every plane has a different profile of tasks and abilities. P47 is a big warbird and - for me - not the fist choice to chase other warbirds. But this depends strongly from the individual skill of yours and your opponents.
