Great review Ginny and what a lovely car. I've just watched this review, on the back of watching Nicola drooling over the Alpine 290, again a lovely looking car, but here's a thought Ginny, do you think your designer friend could let the team have them both for a full, side by side review, just a thought.

Great video but...I'd have liked to have seen you take the manufacturers more to task for the ridiculously high boot lips they all have. Even that MG5 is 74 cm which was too high for your dog which you had to help up. Imagine them jumping down from that onto hard concrete too? Vets are reporting increases in the number of strains and broken legs of dogs and it's in large part down to the irresponsible and uncaring car designs. A third of Brits have dogs after all.

MG needs a lot of improvements. Will consider the next update, if they have improved it. Not worth the money as it is now.

Another review which unfortunately takes no account of the third of people in Britain who are dog owners. The boot lip is 74cms high. Anyone who has a dog with the jumping capability of Shergar should be OK. However, vets are reporting increasing problems with leg injuries from dogs jumping down from these heights. This EV3 also has a sharp sloping roof meaning your dog will have to sit right at the back to avoid being hit by the boot lid.

The boggo car is prettier (sorry). But it's a hot hatch. Not an SUV crossover thingy. Which makes it automatically brilliant.

I have to say that my only criticism of the design, would be the asymmetrical bonnet, featuring that odd '5" which ruins the aesthetic & aerodynamics of the pure 'hot-hatch' design. For me, a fast racing or sport EV, has to become streamline & symmetrical, to be considered seriously efficient, amongst the elite drivers.

Asymmetry is typically something that men like and women don’t. Amusingly when women look at men one of the things they really want is a symmetrical face on their man. I don’t know where and why I read this but it was in a psychological study.

Haha, sadly you've kind of done your own legs by telling me this will only do around 170 miles, or less in the winter. I can't watch the end of the video now, sorry if that wrecks the algorithm! Good channel though, really enjoy it.

Don't know what the people thinking this is "too slow" is talking about. That's not the point of hot hatches! They're supposed to handle well and be lightweight, which this one is much better at!

So 190mile range - less 20% since they only recommend you charge to 80% (and charging from 80% to 100% takes ages), less another 10% in bad weather or if you’re running the heater. So that’s a practical range of 65 miles go & return. So basically can only drive for about an hour away from home if you want to get back the same day without charging. And for this you pay over £30K? Think I’ll pass.

No car needs to be able to go any faster than the maximum legal speed limit, in fact no car needs to be able to go any faster than the kegal speed limit of whatever stretch of road it's travelling on at the time, something that is easily done with today's technology.

What is the obsession with electric cars making ridiculous noises?? It's an electric car, it's naturally quiet and that's the beauty of it, it really doesn't need artificial noises, bleeps, bloops etc! I suppose there will be some who love a sound and that's fine. It's quite simple, just give the option to turn the sounds off for those who don't want it but oh no, manufacturers seem unable or incapable of doing that?
