I have read the Ludell trilogy several times in the last 43 years. The last time was just yesterday. Thank you for your great work, Mrs. Wilkinson. I'll always be a fan. P.S. can you please write a book about Ludell and Willie as adults? And tell us what happened to their fathers? Thanks! 😊

I just bought this book today. I hardly ever buy anything brand new usually I just go through the shelves of dollar used books, but I could not walk off and leave this one in the window of my favorite bookstore. Now I am listening to this on the way home.

very insightful. however to conclude that overtime this problem or white rage will improve or subside is delusional. we keep misreading or misinterpreting history.

Misreading or misinterpreting history ? The " Government " keeps cough, cough, 'white washing ' history every 6 years with New History Text Books. I am 40 years old and my grandparents " KEPT " their collage history books from the 1960's for their grandchildren to read. When I was 14 years old in 1991, I was reading books that was about 30 years out of date. What they taught in high school didn't cover or change the facts as to what happen in WW2. Humans/ people never really change.
