Silver Dollar Club Phoenix '91(?), played in the alley out back in between industrial buildings- a police helicopter hovered over the show with it's spotlight adding to the light show... Ian fell through the temporary stage... EPIC show.

A surprisingly high amount of beauty on this one, but the nuggets of ugliness layered in for good measure don't let the album lose its compass. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I always wondered why they credited Gert-Jan with live sound… until I saw them live. Next to Shellac, the best live sound I’ve ever heard in a club ❤ Also it’s criminal that most of their albums are only available for insane prices on the collector market - they’re more relevant than ever in 2024

Let me just say it's hard to search for this record online (name and artist both being "Dos". But it's a very pleasant listen. There's genius in how absurd the concept seems, yet how well it was executed.
