This was brilliant!! I can't believe it isn't talked about amongst the great performances from Woodstock. The breakdown into the Hey Jude ending was magical and emotional.❤

Well, you can hear all the technical difficulties, but the band still was able to make some interesting sounds. Just a bit of magic amid the chaos.

I had a formal classical education, starting with studying classical guitar and solfeggio for three years. This helped me a lot, but when a friend of mine from surveyor's class made me listen to Leslie West, Jimmy Page, Ritchie Blackmore, Cream and others... I was literally struck... I left everything and prayed my father to buy me an acoustic and electric guitar....and then I started studying pentatonic scales and listening to LPs constantly. I didn't regret it. I am not a professional guitarist also because in my country in Italy Rock/Blues was, and is today, not interesting for the music market. Probably if I had continued studying classical I would be a teacher today... being a classical concert performer is terrible for the psyche... that's fine. Leslie and everyone else R.I.P. 💙🙏 Thank you for posting!

Such a great band, but the lessons from the deaths of key band members are forever as proven by so many before and after them. And that is, “Don’t do Drugs, kiddies!"
