0:06 when he started the steering wheel moved electrically.....mine doesn't do that, does all models from 09 to 20 have it?
@psycheevolved14284 жыл бұрын
Good for the rain but the shifting sounds horrible with it on. for normal driving you want that off, it will cause you to lose the fun

so your saying, if im in 4, taking a corner, i can press the clutch in to go to third, and then let the clutch out without putting my foot on the gas while braking

Wow. all these features just remove peoples ability to drive manual. I feel for the next manual this guy drives that DOESN'T have this feature LOL.

even though I don't do it, what would happen if you skipped gears with this system on?

why wouldn't you do it? It would be smoother with the SRM on.

I didn't realize it kept the revs during upshifts as well.

***** The appropriate use of the word "roughly" is when data is lacking precision, therefore approximating 99.97% to 100% which makes your statement invalid and you, an idiot.
@nickbrutanna99738 жыл бұрын
Based on the fact that your stat is off by a factor of 100, well, it's a pretty good sign your cranium is inserted in your rectum. American manual ownership was as low as 3% (i.e., 100x your made up bovine excreta) but its climbed as high as 6% in the last couple of years. The only car for which you NEED a manual is a sports car. And "muscle cars" aren't sports cars, so 3-6%... sounds about right.

Duuuuude YOU SHOULD HAVE DOWNSHIFTED to demonstrate this:(( it was purpously built to help you downshift better...because it is sometimes hard to rev-match downshifting . I personally find it hard on diesel cars, on gasoline i have no problems syncing my revs:)
@TheBigChad8 жыл бұрын
How is it hard on diesel? It's literally the same thing... They don't rev any different than gasoline cars.
@myvishan8 жыл бұрын
I know that, it's just that i don't quite seem to exactly match the revs. I'm always a little short and the car does that weight movement, tipically. I don't heave a real explanation, maybe I'm to used to gasoline which requires a little more revving. Or maybe is just the position of the pedals of the diesel cars i've driven until now.

while true, it does make you forget how to downshift properly in a manual car without this feature, being so used to the synchrorev match system on my 370z, i actually cant downshift as well as i use to with a regular manual dont get me wrong, i love the system, but its something people shouldnt get use to

so when the brakes actually fail, can you turn it off immediately so that you can engine break your way to a slow stop??? lol!?
@lars4u28 жыл бұрын
....Really? This system works when you press the Clutch Pedal...!!!! I can't even think how stupid someone has to be to ask the question if this system has to be shut off in case you want to use the "engine brake" is it really necessary to tell you that you have to be in a gear to slow down with the help of your engine!??? Maybe those are the guys who think a "weird good" make the world in seven days 😜🙄🙃

Hi, How good is the system when upshifting? Every so often when driving hard I get this really nasty shift shock (mainly happens when I lift my foot off the clutch too fast) which obviously can't be good for the transmission. Does the SynchroRev eliminate/lessen shift shock? Can you shift as fast as you want with the system working out the balance between clutch and throttle? Thanks in advance.
@jjtrick2312 жыл бұрын
no, it does it for you. no need to blip or "keep foot on gas" .
@sexy350Zowner12 жыл бұрын
I rather do it myself and heel and toe than having a computer do it for me

so what happens when you decide to let the car roll? say your rolling at 70mph and you slip into N and you let roll then so you decide to speed back up with lets say 4th will the throttle get blipped in N or only when it senses your going into 4th gear??? i really want to buy a new car my choice is WRX STI or Nismo 370Z but i still want to do more research.
@mannydatt13 жыл бұрын
@z33freak Just another way in which applicable driver skill is being taken away and assigned to a computer... kudos to the men who buy their Z without SRM.
@Reverendwyotech13 жыл бұрын
Why can't you rev match on your own? "heel toe" shifting? just watch a touge clip, if your clueless or own a 370. However, this is cool for douchebags with more cash than taste.
@xmodrock13 жыл бұрын
good video but hate the feature.. whats the point of driving a manual if the car starts doin the work for you? part of the fun is to learn your car.. and be one with it
@Anoush1313 жыл бұрын
So it basically makes the downshifts smoother, instead of feeling the car slightly slow when you release the clutch.

so with this system you could pretty much drive around without the clutch and not burn the syncros out because it just rev matches all shifts for you?
@StormAutoAdventures13 жыл бұрын
@uswg01 Yeah, you do have to turn it off if you don't want it on when you start the car but, it's only a button on the center console you have to push once. It's easier than using a turn signal.
