Looks great, we are retirees thinking of getting that one, just the 2 of us and our wee dog. Can you get side walls for the awning to make an enclosed outdoor room?

That's a great little Caravan! We went to the four-wheel drive Adventure show in November last year. Purchased a new four-wheel drive and a air tent. The tent says 3 minutes to install. We've put it up at least 10 times now by the time we get our chairs tables uo t's a good 20 minutes.. last weekend we did see Camped next to us at Jayco Swift. Is it classified as a camper trailer or a caravan? And from memory the people next to us they didn't have an awning. They used a gazebo. Did you pay extra for the awning? Cheers

Thanks for the tour. I am considering buying the Outback Swift and your video has given me doubts being 73 yrs old and doing many trips on my own - will definitely set up self before purchase. The video was great but the music was far too loud - fear of waking the 2 year old when it suddenly played. Looks like a great camper for your future together. Cheers

I had to turn it off. The music is way too loud. Yes, I could just turn it up and down but it is annoying.

Sits high off the ground and that should ass should allow for some steep exit angles so surprised you didn’t go a full off road hitch. Not having the single electric element would be a deal breaker for me.

Hi Dim, great video and channel! Just wondering which crossing this is at 5:00? We're heading to the same spot next weekend but just figuring out which crossing could cause us issues with rain coming next week.

The Jpod is tiny but the idea of pulling up no winding out popping up ect not wet canvas to pack away is the thing I’m thinking of was that the main reason you sold the swift set up and pack up a wet camper ? I’d really like to know
@DimsimOutdoors
@DimsimOutdoors 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah packing up a wet camper was the pits but I just really didn't enjoy camper life overall... camping in a tent or swag is more my style.

Have been loving your videos how is the swift in wet weather we are thinking seriously to buy one we were wanting the Jpod no canvas to get wet just pull up and jump in the back but for the same money the swift has so much more to offer really could go either way it’s just the 2 of us

Depends on how your vehicle is set up, the way in from Oberon possibly... way we took from Wollondilly side would be easy peasy for any vehicle.

👍👍👍 Definitely the way it is Dim no glossy influencers photos harmed in the making. The best time of night is that 5-10 minute window when the flys 🪰 disappear and before the mosquitoes 🦟 attack that’s when you time the steaks 🥩 to be ready. Cheer Chris

travelled through NSW in 2018 to Queensland, I was amazed at the amount of goats. Not one dead one but the dead kangaroos was to many to count. Those things you pulled out your thong, in SA we call three corner jack or bindi. still not as bad standing on Lego bare foot.
