My you tube algorithms sometimes send these beautiful gems to me. And this is one, the legand that is Gill Scott-Heron.

People have virtually no idea of how valuable this is to the progressive minds all over the world. Subterfuge, bait and switch, smoke screen, and many other duplicitous words and terms are put on display so eloquently… and when you wonder why there’s no music playing… it tells you just how real this is. And it will also tell you why it’s so hard to find… dot dot ditty dot dot dash

Omg!!! As a major lover of swans, that dance was exceptional, especially the end . Is there any artist EVER with a broader base of expressive art than Yo- Yo Ma ? I think his vision is something akin to being at one with the Universe . Is his forward - thinking ability to unite people and to heal with his music and spiritual beauty really of this Earth ? I wonder how he hides his wings? ❤

I was intrigued how Betty seems totally detached from everyone in this scene. She's finished with Don. That same night her future husband Henry sees her standing alone and asks if she's waiting for someone. And she replies "a friend." Betty is in desperate need of a friend; her husband has betrayed her so many times.

IMO, the single best scene in all of mad men. In the context of all the issues Pete & Trudy were having in this season, watching them have fun like this was a great piece of writing

Well that was one thing he was wrong about because according to YA'OH the morning starts when the sin rises. It's like the New Year in the winter. The winter is when things die not grow, new growth! That happens in the spring. The reason that 7 is the ninth month is because they are showing us how they are hiding YA'OH's truths in plain sight!
