Do we need to take and pass the law and ethics exam before submitting the license application? Appreciate your help!

No regrets girl. School can only teach you but so much. Really getting out there in the real world going through trial & error is what you need to get experience. You could’ve stayed in dental school for 10 yrs and still not be 100% confident/ ready. That’s how I felt about respiratory. You learn through experiences

I’m a respiratory practitioner. Im 31 and have been watching you before I even gotten into this field. I chose respiratory because I needed a career. Taking chem 2 after 6 years was a challenge and physics as well. I wish it only took me 18months to finish these science prerequisites it can be discouraging. Being 31 in a class with 19 definitely makes you feel some type of way because those kids are fresh out of high school. He gave me hope because I can’t believe he took bio I at 35!

Took my law and ethics in July 16, 2023. Emailed them to clear my deficiency on CaBreeze and had my application sent to be finalized. Finally licensed in Ca on Aug 10, what a wait.

Hello doctor. Here I am at that crucial moment for making the right decision. I hope I get a reply. I am a 22 year old Iranian - as you can probably tell from my grammatically mistakes and my bad writing- who really wants to study dentistry at medical school in CANADA. but here is some difficulties... first of all I can't speak English very well. and I think I will have many problems communicating with others and in an academic place especially in a country like Canada . additionally I am also very shy and introverted. so how can I speak in public and give presentations in university regarding that my English is not university-level. and the next barrier is that I graduated from high school in Turkey and I don't think it is acceptable in Canada ? so what am I going to do ? should I study 3 years high school one more time in Canada ? is it good idea to study dentistry for someone like me ?

It's really not that bad... heres what I will say about the painting. Your tools are all wrong. Let's stop pretending you weren't think you were Bob Ross lol and what you need are the right tools. Bob Ross has a million paint brushes and I happen to know for a fact his favorite part is cleaning the brushes and beatin dickens out of it. But that neither here nor there... the point is that he has a special brush for special things and nothing in ur painting is special. The painting is special but whats inside it lacks it own uniqueness. I mean your trees don't even look happy... You see very pretty pictures in your head.

I’m a Dental Assistant and I want to tell the doctors about my idea of trying to become a Dentist but I’m turning 27 next month and have ADHD so it makes things challenging and I’m terrified/ embarrassed to say that just now at this age I’m thinking about this but I think seeing this calms me a bit.

Thanks for this video Brittany! I'm taking WREB next weekend so watching this video was helpful. Did you practice for the prost section 3 times as well or just operative? I only bought operative teeth to practice and I was thinking of using my other typodont teeth to practice for prost. The other teeth are differnent though. The practice teeth are just so expensive.

Thank youo so much for this video. I provide services for interview preparation and primarily with students pursuing dental degrees in US and Canada. Much of what you have said is exactly what I tell my students, but you have also have given me some new insight in how my students should present themselves. They are so wrapped up in trying to sound perfect or give a great answer and don't think about being themselves and being honest. I push them to be authentic. For example, one student would speak his answers as if he were giving a speech. I really liked what you said at the end that it is about being honest and focusing about what's good in the student. Thank you again!
