@montes707 Thank you. I hope my videos will help you to meet various musicians. Gleg is my favorite guitarist. I would love to see him live sometime.

FANTASTIC!🎉 DV Jazz 12 fav1 Princeton fav2 Strymon Iridium sounds amazing and best of all, but how would it sound through a real speaker? What speaker cab would go with it to get anything close to the DI sound? This is the most helpful video! Thank you!
@nikujagi18 күн бұрын
Thank you! Strymon Iridium will sound great with any speaker. Iridium can also be used only as an amplifier by turning off the cabinet mode.
The Princeton is a great amp but the Hennriksen sounded best for Jazzy sounds. I use a pair of ZT club amps with a Fractal AX8 pedal, and sound is amazing. I also recommend AER compact 60 or Domino amps for Jazz use.

Thank you! I have owned Lunchbox and I like the sound of the ZT amp. The compact60 is in a jazz club I used to go to. I know it's a good amp. I'll try Domino when I get a chance.

I had loved some other backing tracks from you but here there is too much personal altered notes added to chords. For example : if the solo player use a mode with b13 but you play 13 (because you feel it so), it will sound disgusting and the destroy the inspiration - revelation of the soloist for creating a nice solo line and the guilty of this horrible situation is not the soloist but of course the pianist. I can`t stand with this ignorant behaviour from the majority of the pianists. Friendly and frankly, I recommend you to think twice before getting angry cause of my comment here and change your way of comping.

@@nikujagi Your welcome. I find you are highly talented lol + I really loved some other background tracks and i was really happy of hearing them but your new behaviour with DARN THAT DREAM disappointed me. Actually i am a guitarist but when I was young I had studied classical piano as well until the level Op. 66, Chopin and later then I stopped playing piano but I played only synthesiser in my recording studio for making precise arrangements. When I play back ground guitar in jazz for a solo player I play the chords exactly as it is written on the sheet but I add b9 freely to dominant chords with the character as 5th degree. If it is not written on the sheet I never use 9th and sharp 9th for comping. Let only the soloing musician / soloist use the 11th, sharp 11, 13th and b13ths. All the best.

It seems that the Strymon sound good with every guitar wich is not the case for some other amps. Perhaps you should also obtain a very good result with AER compact. Greetings.

黒本練習中のPacoSKDと申します。 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oN58eqmClq6aYHU.html 肉じゃぎさんの、素敵な「I've Never Been In Love Before」Piano Duo音源を使わせていただき、トロンボーンでテーマとアドリブを1コーラス重ねて吹いてみました! どうもありがとうございました。 アニメーションも温かみがありますね。
A very intelligent pianist.who breaths right between the beats (as Miles Davis said) and during comping he uses only the polyphonic lines belong to the case "PASS PAR TOUT GREATLY". It is a shame that % 97 of the new generation of pianists did not notice those 2 extremely important elements make turn the notes to music. Your piano is not % 100 in tune but thanks to your great concept of playing it does not disturb. Thank you for this great video but I have a question for you : Why do not you take a good bass player with you for creating all those background track videos ? It would be the ice on cake.

I've played through those Henriksen amps and honestly, I don't get it. I don't think they sound all that impressive for the amount of money they're asking.

Только strymon iridium! Габариты, 3 усилителя, 9 кабинетов, реверберация.
I’ve been playing through a ‘68 Champ I got for 500 bucks, really great amp. I love the DV Mark for the price point. I’ll never have an expensive Jazz amp, truth is I stink at Jazz. I love Jazz and what it does for my overall playing. Nice demo! Great approach.

Very good analysis! I like your descriptions, the choice of words, which gives good insights. I have a Jazz 12, a Little Jazz, 2 Quilter 101 heads. And a Henriksen Blu Ten on the way. I agree with you the Henriksen is the best jazz amp.
