I'm glad I ignored the length of this interview. I knew very little about Ms. Jewell and the amazing life she's lived. She is such a joy, and it was fun "hanging out" with her for a few hours.

Thanks for watching and enjoying this episode of The Jim Masters Show LIVE! series with my special guest, wonderful Geri Jewell. Thank you for your kind comment too! Hope you'll enjoy more from our series! Geri and I ignored the length too, we had a super time together and let it roll. That's why I call these free-flowing "conversations" more than typical interviews. :) Thanks again!

Love this! Geri's interview with the Television Academy Foundation is also great! One thing about the name change on 'Facts of Life' that could be plausible: they made Geri Blair's maternal cousin (her mother's niece, and I believe her sister's daughter), so Geri having Blair's father's last name wouldn't have made sense anymore so they figured Tyler was Blair's maternal aunt's married name.

I can't even find the words to say how much I enjoyed this episode. Geri has had such a wonderful life despite her disability. She has worked hard to create awareness for those with CP but others living with disabilities. She's a hero! I really enjoyed hearing the stories of all the iconic celebs she has gotten to meet/work with and especially seeing the photos. Her books sound incredible! WOW! She is absolutely amazing and I'm so glad she was your special guest today! I hope she makes a return visit soon! Thank you, Jim and Geri!!!!!!!

It seems that every know and then a guest is connected to past JMS programs. Well, Geri Jewell is connected to a letterman alum, a Vegas legend and something else. Despite her challenges, her role on The Facts of Life proved anyone can act. Fantastic way to get us into the weekend!

This really was a fun conversation! I enjoyed hearing about all the iconic people Dan has met along the way of his amazing career, especially how many of those encounters were by chance. It's pretty cool how I am unfamiliar with some of the guests in Loveity Hall and by the end of the episode, it's like I've know about them forever. Jim, you really have, as you say, re-invented the lost art of conversation and I thank you for each and every episode.

I grew up one hour north of Memphis and I was in the beginning of my 8th grade year when Elvis died. I did not listen to his music growing up or become involved in being a fan. It wasn't until I passed 50 years old that I began to watch concert footage, learn about his life, etc. Now I am a huge fan. There was something special about Elvis Presley. He was magnetic. Mr. Presley, Jr. shows such poise and authenticity in this interview. After he learned of his DNA, I am sure he put pressure upon himself and others did, too, to become a legendary entertainer just like his dad.

I got stuck in a meeting so had to miss the live show but hit the archives as soon as I got home. Great conversation with Douglas! I have to say, being chauffeured on a long roadtrip, sippin' on Dr. Pepper is a perfect way to carry on a conversation! Loved the story of how he got into Kevin Costner's movie. And the movie clips......YIKES! He scared me! What an incredibly talented and very busy guy. This was a most excellent episode and I thank you, Jim. And safe travels on then road to Canada, Douglas, Jen and that adorable fur baby!

My little sister loves DVD Waltons. We were out of the country when the original Waltons was on. She was just a member of cast before The Ferris Wheel. For one so young, her portrayal of was riveting. (I know that sounds corny but it was!) I believed she was suffering. I googled her to see what else she’d done and I got this podcast. She was a great cast member!

I had the honor of seeing the great Miss Ball in person at the Lucille Lortel theater in NYC. She was seeing an all female production of ‘Steel Magnolias’ before it became a movie. Rumor had it at the time that Lucy was interested in the Clairee Belcher role made famous in the picture by Olympia Dukakis.

This. Was. One. FANTASTIC episode! It went way too fast but I enjoyed every minute. I loved getting to hear "It Looks Like Rain". Debby has the voice of an angel and that song is a beautiful tribute to her father. I loved the photos and the stories as well. God bless the work Debby does to raise awareness for those families dealing with loved ones with Alzheimer's. Thanks, Jim, for such a wonderful evening in Loveity Hall!

I needed a dose of Loveity to end this day and this episode certainly filled that need. What a delightful conversation with Susan. I am exhausted after hearing her talk about all that she does. It's like what DOESN'T she do? She is one of the most multi-talented guests to visit Loveity Hall. She clearly loves life and my take-away from her "Happiness is a decision".... My thanks to you, Jim, for having her back as your guest. Can't wait for her return visit after her book is out.
