I remember a little bit of *that* Berlin from my trips in 2000s. Unfortunately, I wasn't recording yet, but you did a great job back in 1999! 👏 Today it's a different network with modern trams in Berlin... So cool that you also catched classic Tatras and Gothas on suburban lines! 👍

They fid a good job on the refurbished Tatra trams for a short life in Berlin. At least they found new owners

These trains need to be brought back !! They were so vital to regional communities and still could be and would be to this day and way more reliable and efficient then slow and late trucks

Wow I know that some of the locos in the video ended up in good old NZ and onto Tasmania and those old suburban carriages ended up in Auckland before electric trains started running in Auckland, cheers mate

This is crazy, 20 years, and it looks like 50 year old footage 😀 with all the old cars and 14Ts..how quick people adapt to new nicer things. This is like looking at an old game, and cant believe how bad the graphics were. I cant believe it has been 17 years since I have moved from Opava, still feels like home, and I recognize every street and building.

Nice video. Especially interesting to see the former Bochum GT6(bi-directional) as they weren´t that long in service there. The system was more interesting before they bought all these horrible KT4D from Erfurt.

Great video. But i have to admit, that this is filmed most probably arround year 2002. At 3:19 there is Peugeot 206 with new format of licence plate, which is valid from 2002.

Wow the memories. I have seen most of these trains (not necessarily the ones in the video) but I used to see 532 go down to Emerson on the Lettellier sub. I fondly remember the GMD1s working around Winnipeg. I miss them now, but CEMR has a couple.

hello friend. wow, you passed by my city called "Parauapebas" where is the first station where you stayed early in the morning. you filmed at a time when CVRD was close to changing its image. and also the quality of the video surprised me. Back when there were no train videos on the Carajás railway on KZfaq, today it has changed in trains, especially in passenger trains, but the locomotives lost the CVRD company brand in 2008, like this. The VALE brand gradually appeared in 2008. greetings from Parauapebas, state of Pará. :)
