I don't know about "best" but visually I love having both Crackling Lance of Disintegration and Firestorm of Meteors. Ice Spear with GMP gets really good clear and single target damage as well. I wouldn't recommend Ice Spear of Splitting with nimis if you use Lancing Steel as your trigger since the damage feels extremely delayed due to the very few instant impacts and splits. Any Arc gem works well with CrackLance to kind of snake around and hit stragglers, and it's also instantaneous. Meteor feels kind of pointless since the targets are long dead from CrackLance before impact - this is somewhat mitigated if you run higher delirium and grab loads of wisps, but even at 80% deli and 6k wisps, I'm seeing many meteors whiff and hit nothing. Without Nimis, Ice Spear with GMP becomes a really good single target skill without requiring you to be underneath the boss. I'd wager Ice Spear is the best single target with or without Nimis, especially if you use woke GMP,, Dying Sun, and other +proj sources.

Not as it was since that was just for leveling. Unleash ice Spear is viable, especially if you consider how cheaply it can be made. We have Archmage these days which means you can pump out a lot of damage while having a good MoM reserve.

I did remove the comment on my gdq submission but I wanted to stop by and say thanks for the feedback. I wasn't looking for it but it was a good read. Most notably where you said the run is so smooth and fast that its hard to distinguish the skill levels. This would explain why a lot of people think "trials is easy"before playing it. As for the "like" and "basically" usage. I mean it was a first commentary draft so I won't be too harsh on myself
