I think it's fair to say that Adobe isn't egregiously out of line with the early termination fees. Cell phone plans, gym memberships, rental housing, and other industries all have similar payment structures. I don't like it, but it is a reality of modern life. What is frustrating, however, was the "bad faith" way in which they handled changing their terms of service. That left me with a feeling of having a moral obligation to cancel and face cancellation fees I otherwise wasn't planning on. Fortunately, I did only have a couple of months left.

Honestly, the video quality of this camera, as well as dynamic range are very disappointing. The dynamic range is actually narrower than from the very old Sony NEX 5R! That's not what I'd expect from a modern full frame camera. If you can get it used for around $600, it's worth the money, but new is just not a good choice for video imo. The filming options are extremely limited, 4k is cropped and FHD allegedly does line skipping rather than binning. You also get no flat grading like Slog. You'd be probably much better off buying some Sony a6400 if being full frame is not your top priority.

I can't find any explanation of Like709. What is it? It's underexposed, which is easy to correct, but I can't find anything about the dynamic range.

Hello, do you find AFC on the mk2 a significant upgrade over the mk2? AFC as such is meant, not the detection (60fps). I have a gh5, run/gun/point/shoot in 4k60, one area, AFC and hunting is mostly my gripe. Loosing focus, yes, but I can delete a clip as an amateur. Thank you, Frans/Bali 😀👍

What settings was your camera on? I have the same camera, but it keep focusing on both in each settings, and I cannot go back-and-forth.

Thanks for this video. Since I'll switch very soon from my GH5 II to the G9 II, it's very interesting. Until now, I've been used to record with Dual Stab or IBIS + Boost Stab. I've never taken Vlog shots. Since your sequences are convincing, shall I have to do so, I'll add ES. When it's a "tripod like" shot or a "body generated pan", I find GH5 II stab is sufficient. My impression is that it's not very different with the G9 II. But because I may have to improve my "Ninja Walk" technic a lot, I think iI'll not be able to improve it with the G9 II. In order to get a "Gimbal like edit", I usually make additionnal stab in post prod. From the sequence I've seen, I'll continue to do so with the G9 II. To get a "Gimbal like edit" in Davinci Resolve Studio, I combine "Optical Flux", "Maximal Mvt", "Best Quality" and "Similitude" settings. If the processing time is significantly increased, the result is very good, and the crop factor is similar, may be smaller, than what I've seen on your video with "Max ES" on.

Kvalita videa vyzerá veľmi pekne. Vedeli by ste napísať názor aj na Fotoaparat SONY Cybershot HX99 pre porovnanie s Canon SX740HS. Pri chodení na turistiku chcem fotoaparat ktorý zvládne kvalitne videa a kvalitne fotky ale rozmerovo bude malý kompakt. Pozerám tie kompakty kvalitou sú veľmi pekne na tom.

the most important test made so far for the G9II. Sensitivity +3 and speed between -3 and -5 seems to avoid those focus snaps.

Is it consistent? Is is predictable? Better then DFD?
