I’ve had my pixie for 3 years, and I am very attached to the style, but I want to know what long hair is like 🥺I tell u man, I’ll get it to grow past my shoulders, then I’ll get it cut again 🤣

I've grown a pixie out a few times and totally agree with getting it cut/shaped monthly. I'm in the middle of growing one out again, but each time I get it shapped every 5 weeks and it's just so worth it to have it look nice the entire way. I'm sooo close to an ear length bob, I can't wait! Nice tips

I might suggest using Vaseline right near your hairline and your ear for the next time you dye your hair yourself, and do it before you color because the color will get on your ear and it won’t be easy to come off. That’s what I learned. But hey! Gorgeous color on you!! 🏳️🌈❤️✨🔥

Unfortunately I don't find your stylist or the salon in the links. Are they still open? I suppose I can google Curly Hair Studio in Beaverton. I live in Salem and I had no idea there was a curly hair studio! I've been looking locally, but I'm willing to go to Beaverton to figure out what the heck I'm doing! 2B hair is totally new to me since menopause and I have no clue about anything. I didn't even know it was 2B until I let it grow out from my normal, very short pixie that I've worn most of my life. Surprise!! I did grow my hair to my waist as a bucket list thing (my hair was always fine, dense, and board straight). I found a few waves then, but they were nothing to make me change my entire wash routine. My hair was also dry and frizzy and unmanageable midway to the lengths, oily at the roots, so I just cut it off again. Now, I can finger curl my front pieces (I'm not very good at it) and they stay. That's new. My old products don't work now. I'm experimenting with new ones and you know that can take a while. Ugh. Your hair has the same type of curl/wave pattern as mine does, so that's why I'm here. Can't wait to see what you have to offer.

I can’t chew and swallowing is hard due to jaw and massager pain, so I’m contemplating getting Botox. There’s no way I can chew a bagel now anyway, so I’m hoping Botox helps. The pain has been off the charts.

I'd use Color-OOps color remover at least once, maybe twice if there are a lot of layers of color.

Yes finally someone doing it right. For more intense red using magenta mixed with red is the way to go and i love that you used a protein treatment after. I see so many videos and people don't use the right colors and expect vibrant results and they skip the protein treatment after. Awesome video.

@@Agoing2places you can use just red with a 20 volume. Volume is the amount it will lighten your hair. so if you don't want to bright 20 should be good.

I got spontaneous one night did a pixie cut. My hair grows so fast, it’s so thick - I love my longer hair but it gets so heavy after a while. I’m trying to find a happy medium. Hopefully in 5 months or so be shoulder length again.
