- most multichassis weigh around 5-6 tons empty. -I don't think this container chassis is made for the american market, it's european. I have never seen such multichassis in America. but i have been wondering for years why this technology is not used in america. it is quite simple.

what is the max weight loading capacity for 20ft container and 40ft container?

a 20ft container weighs around 2.3 tons when empty. a 40ft container around 3.8 - 4 tons empty. you can easily load 25 tons
