We went through there going to shelter cove and stopped again on the way back on our motorcycle trip. Great place to stop and just relax for a bit. Walked down to the picnic area you showed. Nice couple run the store. The hotel restaurant is very nice with a great hostess. Thanks for making the video.

We lived in Philo around 2000. Maybe 30 miles from Ft Bragg. Fished out of Noyo harbor. Great king salmon fishing. But, the Noyo inlet was nasty. Narrow, wide open pacific rollers. There’s a video of a fishing boat going down on YT.

I LOVE THAT DRIVE, VERY BEAUTIFUL . THERES REDWOOD GROVE A FEW MILES NORTH OF WEST PORT, 27 MILES NORTH OF FORT BRAGG.OCEAN SIDE. RAN DOWN, BUT HUGE OLD GROWTH TREES THERE. LOUISIANA PACIFIC USED TO OWN THAT, BACK IN THE DAY. I FEEL LIKE IVE GONE BACK IN TIME WHEN I PASS BY WESTPORT VILLAGE. I GET A STRANGE CERTAIN VIBE. DO YOU?

The Nugget is a great casino to stay at as well. There is a restaurant in there called "John's Oyster Bar" I will say it has the best Cioppino I have ever enjoyed. It's called the "Lazy man's Cioppino" Glad you had fun!
