there's another option. sometimes the squiky sound comes from all the different damper springs, and that is due to corrosion. in that case graphite immeresed in alcohol might be the answer to fixing it.

Hi I removed the action. I tried spraying wd40 on the hinge but the velvet soaks it up. Any other solutions?

Update: not a rotor problem as suggested in the video itself. I kept it here so people can diagnose sounds. Inspect your brake pads regularly.
