CD009 transmissions hold a lot of power, (donut media's v8 350z for proof) so having the stock transmission is great, the fit is amazing since it was literally made for the car plus, it's a stick 🙂

Cd009 owner here the transmission is rated to hold up to 1000hp but idk I feel like that’s a stretch on a used transmission that’s going to be 20 years old soon. I’d just suggest rebuilding the cd009 to make sure everything is good but I mean you can yolo it it’s one of the best 6spds out there

How far away from the paint is safe when you have a hot intake and normal paint cannot take temps like that? I see blowers going through the hood and always wonder this because the intake is hotter than an oven.
