Does anyone know What is this booster battery at 4'17" on the Turbo Levo? Where can you get it?

Can you KEEP the original front 3 ring crank and deralier with a mid drive conversion bike ?
@bike-zone2 күн бұрын
Most mid-drives use a single front chain ring, but there are options for running two. It's kind of a moot point though, because you probably don't need it.

A lot of good products and a lot of useless ones. As for bike lights with signals, they have to stick to original marking colors, or drivers just don't acknowledge them! Like Ticc, the green LED signal, they would not give a moment's thought to that being a turning signal! A lot of drivers don't even know the bike arm code for signals. I'm a cyclist and a driver, and I wasn't aware of the braking signal years ago when I passed my test until I looked into it myself. It's something that needs to be put in a theory test and hazard perception test!

Foldy locks any of that type have weak rivets cut from the side it's being tested at the moment plus only a bronze or silver rating so if you have bike insurance you will NOT be cover by anything that's not of GOLD standard

I have a Cyclone and you covered the points of why I bought it over the other trailers on your list. Beside touring. I found the trailer to be acceptable as a utility trailer but not fantastic. The Extra Wheel trailer caught my attention while on tour. It was an older model but its carrying capability was exceptional. It had a carrying system that smokes those really boring panniers on your post.

Age has got nothing to do with it. But I'm curious since you did apparently watch the video and leave a comment....... Do you ride a bike? For commuting or transport or just for a pastime?
@vincekerrigan83005 күн бұрын
@@tconnolly9820 In my case, age now has everything to do with it. I Joined my first cycling club in 1948 at the age of seventeen. By my mid 20's cycling took second place to the rest of life's exigencies, but on my retirement at age 67 I took up road cycling again quite seriously for pastime/fitness. I am still going - relatively strong - Lycra and all, at 92, although two years ago I did add a small e-assist kit for the hills. But that's it - pastime fitness. Even in my younger days I would not consider it as utility tool, and certainly not now.

90Nm of torque? You sure? The xsr900 from yamaha, a street bike has 93nm of torque. I Doubt these specs are accurate, and never trust ccp china. Looking at all these components won't be surprised if half or more of the claims are fake, the price shouldn't even reach $1000. likely the price should be around 500-600 at most.
@paulchung99216 күн бұрын
Bosch and Bafang motors seems impractical as you need their bike to use their motors. The problem with all these conversions is that it cost almost the same as a brand new e-bike and putting a thousand dollars into a motor or kit and at that price, I am going to buy an E-Scooter.

Got rail 9.8 Gen 4 last month. Its an absolute beast. I also have 2022 Slash 9.8 XT. I adore that bike so will keep it. But damn the rail is a masterpiece. The only thing i didnt like on rail is the suspension it came with. Select+ was terrible in my opinion. But maybe i dont like it because i have Superdeluxe thrushaft on my Slash which is best airshock i ever tested. So i will change the rear shock at some point. But wow what a bike rail was. My friend also has Specialized S Works turbo Levo G3 with some changes. Its like the top end Specialzed bike with upgrades making it even better. He switched rear shock from fox float x2 to EXT coil shock, the handlebar and switched the tires to michelin EBike tires also the damper on fox 38 to 170 mm.. That bike is also a beast. I dont feel any difference from the torque. I honestly would say Rails Bosch CX in that Turbo mode feels like giving more agressive power delivery despite the numbers. Frame looks is rail all day, but matter of opinion. Geometry since he changed the front to 170 mm and rear to 165 mm i would say his bike is a bit more of enduro than mine, but i can also upgrade if needed. Overall i think you can not go wrong with either one. But in my honest opinion Rail has upperhand because of that CX motor, more wattage on the battery frame design i just better. Specialized in the motor part has a pretty chuncky section that hides the motor. Trek Rail if not the motor sound you would probably think its a normal bike. The Bosch motor looks smaller and is hidden more cleverly. My friend has the better components because i couldnt afford highest components. But if i could get highest components i have no doubt in my mind Rail is a better bike. But the difference is not that big and maybe im slightly biased to Treks designs. But i prefer Rail over Levo

1800 is a lot of money for a collection of cheap parts. The seven speed, cheap brakes and cheap suspension should place it in the 1300 price range. The only thing worth noting is the double battery. Which is, if you need it, worth buying.

What type of bike is for an area with no bike lanes or sidewalks, have to ride on the side of the road on grass or dirt/gravel. I was thinking mountain bike? I wouldnt mind riding on trails and at parks on paved surfaces too.

There is no right answer, particularly because I don't know if it is even legal to ride on the road or the sidewalk where you are.

It's all about use case. Somebody trail riding would probably think mid drive is better. Somebody who's 70 and has COPD will likely choose a hub drive. Or someone like my wife, who would rather have forks stuck in her eyes than shift ANY vehicle. Truth be told, you wouldn't want her to do the shifting, trust me.
