Take 2 cm by 2 cm square paper , fold it diagonally and cut it. You wil get 2 triangles.

Black one is A4 and white one is 1/2 cm less than that. Your will need to cut 1/2 cm from white A4 from all sides so that it becomes slightly smaller than the black one.
