Sorry I have no time for making of videos. I let a layer of resin harden and positioned the shark and the small whale on it. I hung the other two whales on strings at different heights and then poured them in with resin. Every layer of resin was 5cm maximum hight. Otherwise the resin gets too hot and the color of the figures is destroyed

The word "epic" is thrown about far too loosely these days. But it truly fits here. The lighting was the extra icing on the cake, and truly elevates this diorama, especailly when viewed in low light conditions. What a beauty! 😲

What is in your opinion the best sideshow dinosauria statue? If you can purchase just one, what would it be?
@TITANSofTheEARTH
@TITANSofTheEARTH Жыл бұрын
Hi ^^ Hmmm hard too say. I have a view favourites. The Apatosaurus is in my opinion still the best sculpted ,most credible lifelike sculpt of a massive sauropod. You see from the body proportions, the skin folds, muscles and underneath bones that this is the miniature of a gigantic and superheavy animal. The Triceratops is also in my opinion the best scupted one until now. (The new rebor is a copy of it) Look at massive frontlimbs of it's sceleton the bones are 2-3 the thickness of an elephant. It's build like a bulldozer. And that is the Look of this statue. And Camarasaurus vs the 2 Allosaurus. Perfect capture of the moment (hunting scene) Greetz - I had to decide between theses 3

I'm not generally a fan of DamToys, and was didn't like the proortions of their Carnotaurus. But _this_ one I actually do like! The colouration is astounding from fur to fang, and I'm sure it looks even better in person. Way too big and heavy for my shelf though. 😁Congrats on your acquisition!

Yes this thing is super heavy compared to the other statues. Yes , except their Quetzalcoatlus I am not a fan of the dinosaurs they made. Their poses and proportions look unnatral and stiff. But this sabertooth is really nice. Cool pose and body shape. The face looks very lifelike. Both versions. Thank you!

The one that got away from me. A fine example of how much Sideshow Dinoauria cared not just about the primary figure, but put great effort into the rest of the diorama as well. The way the shark is attached is clever and adds much to the illusion, besides the subtle hint that in this day's world, the shark is but a bit player compared to the Mosasaurus!
