That came out really nice ! instead of steel wool i use tin foil and water with a dash of white vinegar .The tin foil wont scratch the chrome because its softer than chrome but harder than the rust.

Did you know you could have polished the Spaz? It'll turn from gray to gleam... somewhat... but it sure won't look like the mess you made. That might be the worst results I've seen out of Spaz. Impressive!

I've used a chrome paint before and although not perfect,...it looked 150% better than what you did !!! You Didn't wait long enough between coats, you chrome coats were way too heavy, and again didn't wait long enough for things to set up. I when I did mine I waited overnight between primer, black and then again between black k and chrome !!!

Here’s a good tip for you to use. Use golf tea’s upside down to hold up small parts that have a hole in them. A good stable base! And, on the painting small items like that was a heat gun on the lowest setting, after a few minutes of spraying . To help bake and set the parts coating even better.

you should have done multiple super light sprays. Thats why you use black as a base, you just covered the thing in the chrome paint, it needs just a thin layer.

It works... did wonders on my truck rims. Obviously it won't take away pits & ripples but the chemical reaction works on rust.. not physical damage of rust.

You should take it to an expert to lace it. You have a mistake that only a pro can see. The holes on the rims are half on one side and half on the other side. you lace the outer spokes to the other side of the rim. this is a huge mistake. If I were you, I would desapeer this video. This is the reason why only profesoinals should load wideos like this. the problem is that others will do the same as you and this can make security problems.

Hi, first of all love your videos...su useful. Secondly I'm confused how you attached the brake linkages and it works as the dots on the link arms should line up with the dots on the centre splines..maybe I'm late to the party and you've altered since

As Many have pointed out, The choice of demonstrating this Chrome spray on That old Pitted piece was not the way to go. I have to say I admire you Determination but I think a Fair test would be On a Smooth surface painted gloss black. Had you done a Piece not so Far-Gone It still wouldn't look exactly like Chrome but Waaay closer. As a few have mentioned "Revell plastic model Chrome paint" is the Best I have used. I think most that use that product would agree. Nonetheless a fun and entertaining video. CHEERS, SantaFeSteve
