I think you mentioned in the short that you put it on your backs of your hands before putting it on your face, unless I misunderstood you, so I was curious and how you go about this without ending up with it on your fingers. I could not figure out how to get it on the backs of my hands without first having it on my fingers, where I don’t want it left behind, or I will wake up with very dry fingers or god forbid, potentially rub my eyes in the middle of the night. So someone recommended that when I was done with my facial skin care (applying Altreno lotion, after which I wash my hands and let them dry and apply final moisturizer to face), that I dot the .025 Tret cream (i have leftover from before starting Altreno) on backs of my hands (tops, not insides-the part that shows aging) and then rub backs together before bed. I find that that cream spreads easily. I haven’t worked it up onto my fingers, just on the hand portion, unless you think it could have some benefit on the fingers? Or would you recommend I use Altreno on hands? My only concern was that potentially the Altreno might not dry down quickly like the cream and I worry about using my hands and potentially getting it on my fingers. (I’ve heard of people forgetting to wash it off their fingertips and waking up with really fried skin on their fingers.) sorry for the long winded explanation. Hope it made sense and would love to hear if you do use it on your hands, which one you use and if you use Altreno on hands, whether you’ve had any issues with it not drying quickly, rubbing off. Or accidentally getting on your fingers. Dr Dray recommends Eucerin Advanced repair hand cream, which has urea & lactic acid, to get rid of hyper pigmentation and so I was wearing that at night with cotton gloves, but I don’t know how I would use that on the tretinoin. (i’m also not too keen on you wearing cotton gloves in the heat of summer so I really stopped using the Eucerib and was only reminded of it when I started searching how to apply Tretinoin to hands.) I almost forgot my Altreno issue- have you ever noticed that based on where you apply the Altereno honor hands before you go to put it on your face, that the consistency can run down your hand? I tried calling the manufacturer and really got nowhere. They told me that the lotion has much more specific temperature guidelines than the cream. Altreno is meant to be stored at 68-77 Fahrenheit whereas cream only needs to be below 80. We don’t turn the air on until one or 2 PM and turn it off about 7 PM so I think it’s possible that without the house kept at that “ideal” room temperature (which sadly, it’s not the temperature in our rooms at all times), that my new tube of Altreno got a little runny after being in my house after a day or so. They were willing to send me a replacement, but since I don’t know if the same thing will happen based on us not keeping the house cooled to that given range 24/7,, I wasn’t sure I wanted to pick it up.… especially as the You Tuber who intro’d me to Altreno, has had multiple issues getting boxes which expire within 1 mo or less. (Crazy, right?) I felt extremely lucky that the one I picked up last month(7/24) stated it didn’t expire until 2/27 although the pharmacist thought that seemed off (way too long), so I’m waiting to hear back from Bausch on that. Seems their distributor is sending out some old boxes so I didn’t want to chance it if a pretty runny consistency is normal. Mine seems funnier than what I’ve seen on video but only once it had been in my house for a few days. I would run the a/c at 74 year round but my mom is not down with that. 😂 Thanks!

@@ScoobyDoosMom Hi! I have no issue with it not drying on my hands. I do put it on my face first and then put the excess on my hands. If you're concerned about it not drying I would just say Pat it with a towel. Also, when I spoke with a pharmacist, they said that as long as it's unopened the product is usually good two to three years after the expiration. And don't take my recommendation on that but that's just what I heard. I hope this helps. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!

Hello! I am an esthetician in atl, ga and I recently was diagnosed with hEDS. How did Botox work for you I am soon to be 36 and I still look very young for my age but I am noticing the loose skin around my eye and forhead is getting worse. I would love to chat and gain more information on what we can do that will actually help. Love the video!

@@TashMaiBeauty Hi! I'm so glad that this video helped you. Botox has really been great for my eyelids. I also got blepharoplasty two years ago. I have a video on that as well and that was great but the Botox in addition to the blepharoplasty has made the most difference. I definitely recommend it. Just make sure to go to a provider that understands where to inject it. For example, I get mine injected in my 11s and in the crow's feet and it helps to open my eyes. I once had it more in the forehead and it actually caused my eyes to look worse because it paralyzed the muscles that elevate the brow. I'm sure you understand all of that as an esthetician! But I highly recommend it. Thank you so much for watching and I will do more videos like this 💗

Thank you so much for watching! The mineral stick around the eyes has been life-changing. I'm so glad you're going to try it. The lipstick that I'm wearing is Revlon super lustrous lipstick in the color Love is On number 745. As you can probably tell by my videos, I find that all that I need is lipstick and sunscreen so lipstick is incredibly important to me. This particular one is $5 and I love it! It's also very moisturizing and last all day without even reapplying.

Does the baseline 5,000 iu recommended dose of vitamin D assume that a person is getting SOME vitamin D from the sun? If you have zero sun exposure would it be better to take more or just wait to see blood results?
@DrReedB0928
@DrReedB0928 Ай бұрын
The baseline recommendation of 5,000 units daily is based on the population of patients getting bariatric surgery. Sunlight doesn't contribute tremendously to the number surprisingly. I would not recommend taking more than 5,000 units until blood work is checked. Usually 5,000 units is perfect and in some rare circumstances, more is needed but we always have to monitor blood work to avoid toxicity. Thank you for watching and I hope that this helps!
