Back in those days, I was not too familiar with computers, downloading and all, so I did not really understand everything about that Napster thing and Lars being hated by fans who would break Metallica Cd's... Now, I agree 100% with the band. It's like owning a grocery store and seing all the clients enter, take some beer, some food or whatever and get away without paying a cent. I never used napster, I used a variety of torrent websites as a kid. I don’t think Metallica realized most of napsters users were kids without any money 😂 but downloading their music is how most of us became their fans. Once I had money I went to see them live.
