the reason why super rescue wasn't adapted for tv series was because of budget constraints, also in 2015 sam wilkinson wanted to bring bear and possibly d199 to cgi but it didn't happen

due to budgetary constraints, the modelling crew could not afford to build the entire engine, Henry's Gauge 1 model (minus the tender) was used to represent Flying Scotsman's front section, with only the rear of his cab being visible, A gauge 1 face was also created for Flying Scotsman. This was modified from Gordon's happy face with a chin-indent, added cheek-lines, additional crows feet, and thicker eyebrows. This face was made to be used as reference for the ERTL and Hornby merchandise ranges

According to an interview with Robert Gauld-Galliers, this could be attributed to limited storylines, rack-and-pinion track, the engines' strange-angled body, and being not very merchandisable and in 2015 sam wilkinson stated the "Culdee Fell Railway have always been on the list to be created, ever since I joined, but these would always require a lot of time, resources, and money to create. Also there is no live-action reference so everything would have to be done from scratch". Sadly, this never came to fruition
