Hello and thank you for your enquiry. The Tub must be installed and secured according to the Tub Manufacturer's installation instructions. Our Island Tub drain seals securely once installed but is not designed to withstand impact or movement.

Hello Victor, and thank you for your enquiry. While the tailpieces are cut and swaged in our manufacturing facility the tailpiece can be cut in the field using careful preparation of the cut end. Create a straight cut using a roll cutting tool (plumbers pipe cutter) - the end must be deburred and there must be at minimum 1-1/2” of pipe that extends past the lowest point of the internal seal.
