Had lunch here at the front once. Never stayed. As soon as I get an RV, I'm heading there to stay. It looks so beautiful with the creek running through.

We camped at that campground twice, and I don’t recall either site had any power outlets. By the way, don’t go there during summer time, it gets really HOT, lol.

Hello, ive heard about this site but I never saw from this perspective. Im disabled and have ti use a wheelchair or walker. I usually bring walker for camping and Im ok. My onky concern about this site is if Id be able to get around safely. I think ill give a try. I reslly enjoyed watching your video. Thank you.
@frank_wu3182 ай бұрын
Since this site is on somewhat of slope, it might not be that easy to navigate with a wheelchair if you are camping by yourself, especially if you are planning using the restroom and shower facilities there, it is a bit of downhill you have to deal with, but a walker is certainly doable, maybe the sites closer to the restrooms might be more suitable, those sites I recall are more flat and easy to get around.

I have a similar model shower unit and it comes in very handy when the campsite units are down for repair or camping where showers aren't available like upper Yosemite !
@AlanHuang176 ай бұрын
If I can ask, what kind of mpg do you get (with and without for comparison)? And with the toilet, where do you use it? And you usually bank on campsites providing showers (because, I guess you aren’t carrying water)? Thanks for the video! (Can hear you just fine).
@frank_wu3186 ай бұрын
MPG usually depends on the towing vehicle, We tow with my 2011 X3 or x5 diesel, so I get pretty good mpg, around 20-22mpg. We mostly camp at county or state campgrounds so most have restrooms even showers, so we mostly use the portable toilet at night in the camper since we don’t feel like walking to the restrooms at night.

I’m a little confused. I have a trailer camper as well. Are you allowed to just park right there in the road? How will people get around you?
@frank_wu3186 ай бұрын
Every campsite has an area next to it that allows you to park a car and a small camper like ours, this campground is not for big trailers, something under 16 ft works well. It’s almost like those circular driveways that people have in front of their houses, that’s where you car your car or camper, and the road is next to it.

Where did you have the dormer installed? I have the 2023 Aliner Scout Lite and would love to have that feature.
@frank_wu31810 ай бұрын
That was an option from the factory, we ordered ours with the wind assist and front soft dormer. Since Scour Lite is the smallest ALiner, hard dormers are not offered from the factory, but we prefer the soft dormer.

My family and I stayed at this campground recently. (7/2/23 - 7/4/23) During this time of year, we found that the mosquitoes are biting like crazy and the raccoons are particularly aggressive at night. Apart from those minor annoyances (a good repellent will sort you out) we found the entire SP to be surprisingly beautiful and its campgrounds to be very well kept. The greater Clear Lake area (outside of the SP) does have something of a reputation, but this place is a gem.

@frank_wu318 Жыл бұрын
If you mean by parking at the campsite, I believe you can park at least two, but most of the campgrounds will charge an additional fee if you bring a second vehicle, the fee is usually less than $10.
