There are various types of threads on the valves, some more frequent than others. NPT is also amongst them. The S60x6 thread type is the most frequent in EU.

So if 3 high bettom 2 need to be vented??? Im guessing the lids on bottom were designed to be watwr tight with those vent hoses so it does not leak?

Dont stack 3, because the load capacity of the tank is 1200 -1650kg (depends on the type), so 2 is MAX. All openings can be completelly sealed, yes - they are designed this way and have gaskets in them.

Hi! Lower tanks are filled through the top two. So, water goes from the top container to the lower one and when lower one is filled to the top, the top container starts to fill. It works like if you would have one big 4000L tank.

@@hotroda.5821 Hi! Venting ensures that the tank fully fills - without venting, it won't. It can't overfill because venting is designed with that in mind. You can find various venting solutions on our website and use the one that fits your needs.

Hi! The top lids of the lower IBC's have to be vented. If they are not, the water will not fill the whole container. If they are just unscrewed, the top containers will not fill, because water will flow out through the lids...

I use ibc tanks for holding engine oil, will this system be okay to use for engine oil ?

Hi! We didn't test it for engine oil - that is not our field of expertise. The gaskets on the adapters can be replaced with EPDM or NBR material. The gaskets inside LDPE hose fittings are made from EPDM rubber and can't be replaced. Please check if that complies with your fluid. Either way, you do it at your own risk.

Hi! PTFE tape should not be used in any adapter mounted to the IBC container. Every piece has its own gasket. We add an additional EPDM rubber gasket for our products.

If I want to raise the height of an IBC tote to get the output valve 12 inches off the ground, how would I do that?

Hi! For example, you can simply line up bricks or some concrete squares of a suitable height at each corner. Provided, of course, that the ground is properly hardened - so that the weight of the tank does not cause the bricks to sink into the ground.

Hi! No, the pressure stays the same... You can increase the pressure with placing the tank higher. The pressure increases by 0,1 bar for every 1m of hight.
