Hi there i found a Dakar from 2001 but it seems like it came from the factory without ABS. Does you Dakar have ABS? What year is it?
@francescocalvanese62358 ай бұрын
There is with and without abs. You have to see if there is the switch

I have the same exact lunch bag. It's very well made it takes a while to break in because the material is so thick. I like it a lot I just wish it had a small pouch on the side or even the front so i can put my utensils and etc inside the pouch instead of just tossing it in the bag. I also wish it had clip on strap just so I can carry it instead of just holding the lunch bag in my hand because it can get heavy when adding more stuff in the bag. Overall this is a good quality lunch bag

I'm an inverted brewer too! Have you tried the silicon bottom one way valve yet? Or metal vs paper filters?
@adveats70493 жыл бұрын
I always use the paper filters! Mostly because I’m kinda cheap ;)

Have you tried the silicone filter? Would love to know how it works

Nice review. I hadn’t realized they made a smaller, more portable version. I picked up a Pipamoka last year and have found it to be great for motorcycle camping as well.
@adveats70493 жыл бұрын
Nice, I’ll have to check out the pipamoka! Yeah, the compactness is a a real game changer, the original style AeroPress is is to bulky for camping!

Double thanks, I just checked out the Pipamoka website, gonna have to find and try one! Looks like a heavyweight contender for the backcountry coffee crown!

I too love good coffee. I've settled on a collapsible Melitta filter holder. Main reason is clean up. Aeropress et al require more work. Melitta has the grounds held and all's required is toss or bury or burn the filter and grounds. Filters take a little space. Coffee cools a bit while filtering. But clean up? Melitta.

Undoubtedly another great way to brew a cup of coffee. I like the x-brew for the same reason, dump the grounds and rinse it clean, ready for the next cup!

A little grease on the filter and it pops right back in
@brianbrannon3 жыл бұрын
What size grind are you using in the xbrew?
@adveats70493 жыл бұрын
Medium-medium fine grind usually. To fine and it really clogs up and takes forever to brew I find. It takes a little bit of experimenting to find just the right grind size. luckily, you get to drink lots of coffee in the process. The water temperature is the thing that I have found makes a really big difference too. I let it sit for a minute after it boils so it a little less than boiling, then pour a little over to let the beans bloom, then go for the slow pour over after that.
