I was curious too haha according to krissai, miniscrews are placed in the jawbone to provide a stable anchor point for ortho treatment (braces in this video). Looks very painful tho 🤯

Does mini screw/implant expensive in your country?? In the Philippines, my orthodontic doctor says that 1 screw will cost 16,000 or as I remember 20,000? It's equivalent to 270$ to 340$ for 1 mini screw.

Filipina here! I think it depends on the clinic. My orthodontist charged me ₱5000 per screw while other clinics I went to told me it can be ₱8000-₱10,000 for 1. It depends on the location since in the city it might be more expensive

@@MirziFerrer thank youuuu!! Ang mahal kasii ng mini screw kaya napa search nalang din akoo huhu. Di pa ako nakapag try sa iba, pero worth it naman siguro, kasi nagtuturo din si doc sa mga students as I know. Tsaka ayun, master of science in dentistry, major in orthodontics kaya si doc din yung pinagkatiwalaan ko. 3 to 4 screws pa naman yun tapos 50k braces😭. Ang mahal huhu.
