It was discovered long time ago that not heat kills ECU but problems with voltage drops and inconsistent supply. Heat maybe make it quicker but first thing to do is new battery, alternator, voltage regulator and clean contacts with good mass connection.

Just got my 2004 Aero convertible dropped at my house last week, saw this thumbnail and had to click. Good call on the spacer - I've already burned up one ECU on my 03 Arc so did the Taiwanese relocation which is working great. Do88 bits look good

It’s my mates bike btw but yes loud without the baffles in and nice level with them in. When your on the bike it’s fine tbh and sounds great, my mate runs it without the baffles in I had a google and it should be fine without a CAT if it’s got a full aftermarket system on it

Thanks mate! Yes that’s right, drain the tank via the carb drain on the float bowl then I’ll take the carb off, float out and give it a spray with some wd40 so next use it doesn’t stick and overflow Maybe I’ll do a maintenance vid during the season!

Is there a need for mapping or a Power Commander? Also, is the CAT a stressed member? Is there any compromise in structural integrity by removing the CAT?

The bikes not been mapped since putting the exhaust on it and it’s running fine The cars bolted to the frame rails but not a stressed member so won’t effect the handling

@TheHeadling That's Awesome. My zongshen 125cc 54x54 is acting weird after my chain came off in 3rd gear about 3/4 throttle. It has a tbparts topend kit, it was a BEAST. I'm thinking the z140 can still use the cylinder and racehead so I'm thinking about upgrading to it...
