I am truly not understanding this at all, is the situation one where someone is on the side of the road out of the traffic lanes on the shoulder of the road and drivers in the closest lane to the shoulder need to move to the left lane farthest from the stopped vehicle? Thank you for any clarity, it seems pretty obvious to do that on your own

@@Dutch1954 Technically, it applies to any stopped vehicle with emergency or caution signals on a highway ("highway" includes the traveled roadway and areas to the sides of the roadway such as shoulders), so on the side of the road or even actually ON the road. Drivers approaching such a stopped vehicle either must MOVE OVER to allow one empty lane between them and the stopped vehicle... OR... if they can't MOVE OVER safely (too much traffic or only one directional lane), then they must Slow Down as they pass in the near lane. [Maryland State Statute 21-405(e) ]

There is nothing wrong with her. How could you ever say such a heartless comment. What exactly is she doing wrong. These were among the most popular dogs in both the US and UK at one point for families. People are the issue and the tide has turned against the breed. We need dramatically better protection laws. There should be ZERO breeding allowed at all whenever there is any 10 year period where there are pets that are put to sleep. And complete mandatory microchips for all animals tied to driver's licenses/ID cards. Few people move w/o retaining their license. You dump your dog, huge fines to account for what was needed to help your dog. You hurt your dog, prison time.

Vet fees aren’t that absurd when compared to human medicine, but if the vet office is corporate owned, they do not have much wiggle room on. Vet offices also have a lot of staff. At the office my daughter works for, it is two vet techs per doctor. Then there is the staff for boarding. All these employees have to be paid. Also certain breeds will be more expensive. English bulldogs are a money dump. People should know this when going into purchasing one. Also getting an animal from a dubious breeder is almost a guarantee for higher bills because the animal comes with problems that need to be treated. Agreed 100% on pit bull breeding. My daughter loved working at the shelter because the pit bulls were some of the sweetest in the shelter, but they are so overrepresented. Something needs to be done to reduce their numbers. It will take a cultural shift I think.

And we don't need laws stopping people from breeding? What is wrong with this loving dog? People are the problem.
