I have a poly gel that’s hard to work with because it’s so sticky (funny enough, it’s a blue glittery one too lol Must be something about the glitter gels) I’ll try this. Thank you

It is a great life hack. I had a 3D request from a client, but I couldn't buy clay gel from Amazon in time for delivery. So I was looking for a substitute with Polygel. Thanks useful information.

I see so many many nail techs mistaking the eponychium for the cuticle. You should never cut the eponychium as this will cause hang nails and can lead to infection getting under the nail.

Great tip on using poly gel for creating 3D flowers. We were taught to pat the poly gel into place rather than try and drag it into place. It is nice to see someone who doesn't add loads of unnecessary product to the nail. They looked beautiful.

This has nothing to do with the inhibition layer. She’s talking about those polygels that are hard to work with because they’re so sticky that you can’t smooth them properly into the dual forms. You still need to use alcohol after curing to thoroughly clean off the inhibition layer. If still sticky you need to cure longer. If still sticky after that, then it’s the quality of the poly gel. Bin it.

I have a question so if your doing French tips you can leave the nails on after applying the poly gel? Because I saw a video were someone used dual tips and after applying polygel and they dried she took the tips off. So my question is do you have to take the tips off after doing polygel nails or you don't have too unless it's dual tips? By the way yr nails are pretty 😍

If it’s not dual forms, you don’t have to take the tips off. But the tricky part is if you want to leave them tips on you need to file or buff the underside of the tips so the polygel will stick tightly to the tips, otherwise the tips might pop off easily.

This is really beautiful work. Just purchased a polygel kit waiting for it to arrive to get started. But tell me how did you manage to create the flowers on your right hand as I'm assuming your right handed so using your left hand would be hard work
