Don’t buy it! It’s bad product! It was 105° in my house the other day here in Minnesota. We have no A/C just fans blowing hot air around. Windows aren’t openable, sealed shut due to the house being so old, and we have 1 screen door. I bought this Arctic Chill Thing at Walmart in a badly damaged box. I bought it, brought it home, plugged it in. Added Icewater, Ice, & froze the cartridge… …it didn’t cool down any room, the fan barely had good airflow (not due to the damaged box, I promise), and on top of that… the mist it sprays is ridiculous. As an experiment I left it plugged in and running inside of my freezer for 5 MINUTES with the door shut… my whole freezer was full of water… So… if the freezer gathered that much liquid from the fan… if I blow that fan onto me/my bed overnight… well… I’m gonna be soaked! If not my body being soaked, then after enough uses, my mattress will be gathering all that moisture, and then I need a new mattress… which then would be another problem. No matter how I look at it… it just seems like a bad product.

I own one of these. It's a good product as long as you understand that they are NOT an air conditioner. This thing consists of a fan, ice water, a sponge, and a tiny spray nozzle. That is it. You COULD make one yourself, but it's a lot easier to just buy this. It's better than nothing when AC is simply not an option.

They don't work I tried it, All it did it heated the room up from 80 fahrenheit to 82 fahrenheit. So I just shut it off.
