Money well spent. I never would have seen the light scratches or rim rash without this inspection. Sales guy certainly wasn't trying to point out every little flaw!

The 427 engine wasn't available until 1966 . The factory wood steering wheel was a two spoke version in '65 , not only is it available as a reproduction but it also didn't have those tacky ass rivets around the perimeter .

The may speak visually, but it's a plus if you comment during shoot so those looking to invest in a classic car will know what to look for and or if you're inspecting it for a client? People can reach out to you. I'm always seeking independent people to inspect a car in different states so I'll know if any issues are found before I pull the trigger.

Nice car overall as the full-sized Cadillacs from this era are really sharp looking. The dark brown top works well with the paint color and I also really like the velour with the d'Elegance seats; it's too bad there appears to be some interior damage from cigarette burns, though.

I had a 67 Chevelle SS with bench seat and power glide transmission. It had a 360 hp 396. Folks have said that it never came with that engine but it did. It was a demonstrator that my uncle drove since he was the sales manager for the Chev dealer I worked at. I bought it when the 68s came out and paid $3,000 for it and It had a Holley carburetor hyd lifters but wasn't a high rise intake like the 375 hp.
