I always thought we would never see a Dash-8 RC model because I thought that the insanely narrow wing would never fly when scaled down. And yet, sure enough - there actually is one...!!! I guess this baby needs a very high speed to safely lift off.

This is a great size for scale models: Powerful, not too heavy, very agile but with calm stickinputs it's still possible to fly them in a very scale like style. Very nice camera job!!

This is a very beautiful and detailed Jet Ranger model. And the sound of the main blades is great during turns with some more load on the rotor disc. I love the paint job/color scheme! Nice camera job as well, zoomed in, but not too much so that we can get a feel for the position and orientation of the heli in the sky. Please show us more nice helicopter models, even with some close up shots on details like cockpit or ather great scale details. You obviously don't have the knowledge about such a model. This is a unique scratch built model on a level above the ordinary rc pilot!

Thanks for the upload. I had not seen this type of RC model before. The organisers should consider a tarmac runway and taxi area for the next airliner gathering to reduce the possibility of damage to these expensive models during take-off and landing.

You're right. Not quite true. And with the rocket launcher extended and the cannons on the left and right it would be even more coherent.

dang brother, you got that round sound going on for you. Awesome. Prop sounded so real on the fly by. Hard to tell that wasn't a real steaman on the taxi out. All the maneuvers were well coordinated, no herky jerky movements, the chandells were perfect, the volume of smoke looked so real. Other than a couple of ups and downs on the landing approach, everything was very realistic to a real airplane flight. Good job. Great paint job. The scarf was the icing on the cake.

Hi. This is the first video of yours I have seen. Nicely done, although the ending was a bit abrupt. Personally, I would like to see more Golden age civilian aircraft. Warbirds and jets are everywhere. Golden age, not so much. Subscribed!

Yes, the end is a bit abrupt because shortly after the last picture shown here, people run into the picture and obscure the plane. Unfortunately, this is sometimes the case at aviation festivals with lots of people. 😎 I also filmed a lot of civilian aircraft. How are these built? Kit or scratch? Ive actually just tried to find some full scratch built RC planes, but all I can find are damned styrofoam, and PVC garbage.

Thank you. Interesting... at 0:13 the engine intake appears to show a large rotating fan... before the turbine is powered up. Normally a Jetcat or similar small turbine is simply mounted in the nacelle. So, this couldn't be an actual mini-turbofan--my understanding is that they don't exist?
